More of a mega-bodega than a supermarket but, not a hell of a lot to choose from around these parts.
Its conveniently located. Some things are overpriced, but they often have good deals on produce.

Very bad this supermarket always have expired things since they are 7 times that happens to me one has to go and Before buying set the date and one can not enter quietly and buy no! If you do not have to check the date first and have many troublemakers who do nothing! The first time was hotdog, chicken that reeked a lot, cookies, childrens yougurt, milk, childrens juice and now cheese that is from September and now we are already October. It doesn T work!! The workers dont do their job and the business manager doesnt care!
I always go shopping at that supermarket and I always find what I want, it is a small supermarket but they have what they need to stock up, the butcher shop has a great variety and their butchers are very attentive, the cashiers are very kind to customers and they are always in good condition. humor.
I always buy several grocery items here in all the ones that sell it is good fresh and they have a lot of variety and good prices if the staff are very attentive thanks if I recommend it is found.

2012-09-19I love this supermarket. They consistently have quality produce (the same exact products for sale at Whole Foods btw for a fraction of the cost) and the workers are friendly and accommodating. Ive been going there regularly for seven years now and can tell you that they easily beat the competition in variety and pricing. The new head butcher, Ariel, is great and very friendly. Even MTV loves Xcellente Supermarket! MTV has a new reality series featuring young people in Washington Heights. Guess where they shop?? You guessed it! Xcellente Supermarket!

2018-01-14They dont have the biggest variety of things but for the majority of the things you need they definitely have it and at very reasonable prices they do seem like they could use a few more employees at checkout or maybe it could be the times I go but usually theirs only 2 people at checkout and barely anyone on the floor helping.

2017-07-04THE WORSTthe meat department always use the wrong codes to over charge people, no customer service at all.When they have something on sales at the register you get charge regular price. Not a good place to shop.
