I had a great experience there, people were so kind and friendly, helpful and honest.I had a car that I purchased almost two years ago and the battery started to give me troubles, I randomly took it to Yorkville Battery shop to replace it as recommended by my friend since they have fair prices. When I got there and they tested the battery and realized it was almost dead, need replacement, the technician there realized my battery was purchased from them 23 months ago and it had a warranty for 24 months. They changed it free for me and he was very nice and friendly. Thank you so much.

We went this morning to purchase a battery for our Civic and was treated like royalty. I never had to leave the car which took away the worry of waiting in a waiting room of sorts which was worrisome and they had us out of there in no time flat at nearly 1/2 the price I expected to pay. Very impressed.
We get our car batteries here when needed. Knowledgeable staff and good prices. My most recent need was a battery for an old flip phone. It ultimately did not work out, but they gave me a refund, so no problem. They have batteries for just about anything, so theyre my first choice to very likely get what I need without waiting for something to ship (i.e. from Amazon or wherever). They usually can install your car battery while you wait, too. You just show up; first come first serve.

Great service and awesome prices. Took my tuck in because I thought it needed a new battery. The sales associated checked my battery health and suggested it be replaced. Within 15 mins I had he had a new battery installed and my tuck has never run better. Definitely will be going here from now on for all my battery needs.

Couldnt be kinder and more helpful.I drive a handicapped van. Battery was low on charge.Jordan was kind enough to give me a temp and is charging mine as I write.This, not to push me to buy a new battery, but to help me charge it since, to do so for me, would be impossible.Kind and caring since one battery for all the functions of the van, ramp, door opening and kneeling. Refused to honor the warranty on a battery, even when a receipt clearly stating it was covered was presented. If you do not wish to honor warranties dont carry the product, its fairly simple.
I walked into this store 10 minutes before they closed hoping that this store would have batteries for my Panasonic ice cream maker. The two salespeople I interacted with were helpful, friendly, courteous and curious (I would guess they dont get many ladies stopping in to buy batteries for ice cream makers)! They answered all my questions.Best of all, the batteries which I needed, which sell for $9.99 each at Walgreens, were only $5.38 for a two-pack at Yorkville Battery. I see more ice cream in my future.The store itself is clean and well-organized; I hope that they will have an online store so in the future I will be able to order from them wherever I am. They have a happy and satisfied customer!
If they dont have your battery, they will ASAP. And in most cases will install it for you as well.

2022-05-26Annoyed staff because they were busy.. just pushed me through the line so they could get rid of me. Left my old battery which was probably still good but I had to get to work so I let it slide and wasn’t offered any money for the core charge

2022-06-20Arrived there Saturday at 12:45 pm, I waited at counter for over 8 minutes for someone to come to counter. Mr. Unfriendly finally showed up and asked what I needed, apparently the battery on the counter I brought in with me wasnt a clue to him. I Also showed him a picture on my phone of another battery i called about the day before, with part number clearly shown. The lady I called the day before said they have 9 in stock of that part number. This clown brought out a totally wrong battery with a tiny spade plug in, told me to just bend it to fit. REALLY ? My battery has a 1/4 inch hole to bolt on the lead wires. He said you show up at 5 minutes before we close, what do you expect ? I said no, I didnt, I was here before then. He then said there are only two of us here, I dont know where that battery is, you need to come back another day. I told him i drove an hour to get here, i dont live around the corner. He then said J****? will be back in 5 minutes but we close at 1:00. by now there was two more customers behind me, and I turned to them and said i guess you guys are out of luck too. So I paid for the one battery i brought in, had to ask for a receipt and left with one of two batteries. On the receipt it said cashier name was Steve, what a professional wizard he is. I will never step foot in that place again, the place is a joke. DO NOT SHOP THERE

2018-01-03There most knowledge folks around town when it comes to batteries. Ive been here several times - always in the dead of winter when my car batteries lose a charge - and they always help. High quality batteries. Good prices too. I would 100% trust a battery from here over one of the large automotive chains.
