Noticed the car with a low grinding sound when braking at low speeds and figured i should get the brake plates checked. Drove to this location after they said drive in is available if i arrive within ten minutes. Really transparent process in which everything was shown and explained and i ended up having to change the pair of front brake plates and rotors. Super fast service and i was out in a bit less than half hour. Pricing was also really competitive and owners gave me some tips to maintain the wheel assembly conditions. Will definitely be back again.

Probably the best auto shop in Flushing. Young is very knowledgeable and knows so much about new and old cars and typical issues. He is Honda certified and I believe Toyota as well. Doesnt matter if its for a regular maintenance or a big fix , they are the shop to go to. Diligent and very reasonable pricing! For my performance folks, you can also bring your fluids and parts and pay them labor for install/change.

Great staff, excellent service, owners are super friendly and would tell you what needs to be and they really care about your safety. They even offer to drop your car off for you when it’s finished after they close if you live in the area or you can pick up from their house at later hours if you get off work late. Definitely recommend this auto shop!

Worst experience ever! I needed to change my car battery. The bolt which fixing the battery was rusted and hard to be removed. Before repairing I explained the situation and asked them how much they would charge. They said they would check. I waited for half an hour until I got an available mechanic taking care of my car. He spent about half an hour trying to remove the rusted bolt but finally failed. He just loosed the bolt by using a crowbar and then just put the new battery in without fixing my battery. He said it was ok but I was really concerned that the battery would collide with the wheel of the running engine. He told me to bring a new battery tray so next time he might replace the original one. Now my car runs with a moving battery under the hood. They charged me $ 45 for their 30-minute unsuccessful work. Also, they were reluctant to give me receipt for the money I paid. It is up to you whether to go to this auto repair shop. I trusted them but they failed me. Just before I was about to leave, I heard they cursed me just because I said they had not fixed my car.

I cant say that I particularly enjoy going to auto shops. Whether it is an oil change or a weird clicking noise in your engine, ultimately youre worried about the bill that comes at the end. At Young & Son, however, I dont mind paying the bill. Laura (owner) is very professional and friendly and shes always willing to answer my questions. She explains everything thats going to be done and why it needs to be done in simple layman terms that doesnt make me feel like my car is a spaceship. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a decent auto shop.
