Great food excellent service very clean highly recommend good for large groups
Loved the lunch special! Greek salad was fresh and crispy and the lentil soup was perfect, even the pita was much better than what Ive had elsewhere. Everything came well organized with tsatsiki sauce and salad dressing. And I could barely finish it!
I have given them a good review. Eating there is good and they are nice people. But tonight is not the first time it has happened with waiting for delivery but 1hr and 15 minutes is crazy. I told driver that the food was going to be cold and it was. When I called Augustine he offered no apology. I wont call them again.
Friendly staff, tasty food and so very accommodating. I stopped here to grab dinner for my family while my Aunt was in St. Francis hospital. The staff did everything to make sure we had everything we needed to go. I would definitely return given the opportunity.
Delicious, juicy Greek food. Everything on menu is good. Only thing is, they take forever. Even when I order well ahead of time, its never ready, like they didnt even start. I would eat here more often for lunch, but I have time constraints and cant bet on them actually preparing a single gyro in a half hour.
I dont know what happened to this place. I once wrote a 5 star review for this restaurant mentioning how excellent Marlon was when it first opened.On 1/17 I placed my order at 6:24 arrived at the restaurant at 6:45 payed the young lady then was directed to wait and was told my food would arrive any minute. 25 minutes later I received my food.Traditionally this would not have been a big deal, things happen. But people were coming off of the street ordering while I was there and receiving there food. All while I continued to wait. I also noticed there were bags waiting on the area I payed where orders had been placed at 6:36 6:39 6:42 from what I read on the receipt that was printed on the bag. 2 gyros apparently take 91 minutes at this place, haha.Also be aware your menus price might be outdated ours was.The food was subpar as well.I do not plan on returning.
Been there several times and work in the building. Food is pretty good, salads fresh and ample. The lamb kebobs were unusually good.Service could be a little faster but cooked fresh is probably the reason for the speed. Good value, comfortable and casual.
Excellent Greek comfort food! Well lit dining area and charming interior. I dined in the early afternoon and took advantage of the lunch specials, limited but great prices. The full menu was available. Would recommend to family and friends!
The food is excellent but they are very stingy with their olives. A salad is included and we asked for olives on the side. They litterally gave one olive with our salad when order was delivered. Who givs just one olive with a salad? Thats crazy. Just saying. LOL
This is a 4.5. One of the best Gyro sandwiches I have ever had and I have eaten a lot. I cannot wait to go again. I love the Greek Fries. They have a nice little coating on them as usual. You will like this place. Friendly service, brought it to our table. Paid at the end.You have go to go here.
Had the family combo. It was lacking for 4 people. 65/4=16.25 pp plus tax. You expect a little more than what you got. The spicy feta was extremely over salted, we threw it out while the babaganoush was completely bland (not salted which is at least edible). Small side salad came with it and the dressing was either spoiled or just didnt taste right.
Has a sharp, clean, casual atmosphere inside. Lots of seating. I ordered takeout, lamb and beef gyro. I arrived ~5 mins before they opened and they were super friendly despite still rushing to open up on time. They prepped my gyro super fast despite this and even added a smile!The gyro itself was okay, but nothing to write home about, and the quantity was reasonable for a 1 person lunch. $9 for a gyro alone (no fries or side) is a little steep, but this seems more like a sit-down casual place than a take out place. Though they do offer delivery. Seems like a nice place for a date
I dont understand how this place is rated so well. Ive had better gyros or gyros just as good in any other diner Ive ever gone to, which isnt much at all. Id also like to mention that the even though the flavors are lack luster in flavor or taste, the prices are too high for how mediocre their food is. The only thing youre paying for is to sit down and the atmosphere, everything else is sub-par and overpriced. If the food was priced half of what it was, Id give it a better rating ONLY because Id be then paying for what Im getting. Just go anywhere else, itll be just as good if not better, and youll save some money too.
So I order from this place on a regular basis. Normally large orders. The food was tasty but they always either forgot something or made whatever they could remember off of the top of their head. But anyway I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and ordered on my own. One simple order. I clearly ordered a seafood wrap because I am a pescatarian. I don’t eat chicken or red meat. Just fish. So my order takes a while to get here which is understandable cause I don’t live close. So when my food got to my house they gave me a chicken wrap instead of a seafood wrap. I called the manager on the phone and explained to him what happened. He insisted I ordered the chicken wrap. Little does he know I know the menu backwards and front. I would never as a pescatarian order a chicken wrap. So he apologized and got quiet on the phone. That ticked me off because it didn’t sound like he had intentions on sending me another wrap then when I requested he was like “oh ok...yeah we’ll send you another wrap.” $20 for a damn wrap you better send me another one! Then the driver gets to my house with the most disgusting attitude like I did something wrong! The mess up was on the establishment not me! So I think I’m not going to order from this place for a while.
Very good food. The service is a bit slow, so dont go if you are in a hurry. The food is worth waiting for.
This is a review only about the gyro. The place looks like it has a lot of great food that I still havent tried. I thought the gyro was a bit on the salty side. I like it when it taste more like Lamb. Other than that it was fresh and hot and I still ate it ( mostly because I was in hungry)
Went there for the first time before concert. Probably had the best ever gyro! Highly recommend it. Great food really nice place and very friendly. Go you wont be sorry! If closer would be a regular.
Really enjoyed the food and the service. Great for kids -- they are welcome at Yummy Gyro. The salads were fresh and excellent, and main courses generous in size and very tasty. On street parking seemed available but recognize that the restaurant is nnbnbn ewr the Long Island Railroads Port Washington station

I found this place online; i wanted something different for lunch. When i walked in I immediately noticed how clean and lovely it was. The staff was extremely nice & helpful. I would recommend to anyone!
Food was good but I was disappointed with service and management. They forgot part of my order and getting them to deliver my meal and later my refund was excruciatingly difficult. Took more than 5 calls over 2 days to work out. Still waiting for it to be resolved.
My friend and I stumbled in here one day during our lunch break. We came back everyday for almost two months. The best gyro Ive ever had -- no doubt.

This is a nice, quaint restaurant. Its not their main thing but definitely try their mango or ginger/mint lemonade--its seriously good.

Their falafel platter is amazing ! Tasty and filling comes with a soda. Its a quick and filling mean whiles also being healthy.

2022-03-17If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Devastated because I really liked their Kronos wrap I have ordered it maybe 20 times. I received my order with a side of cockroach. Threw up my food and now have a new fear of ordering food from restaurants. Disgusted.

2022-06-25We ordered a Super Gyro pita and a Poseidon pita sandwich. The food was delivered cold and soggy. The grilled salmon that came with the Poseidon sandwich was so small it got almost lost in the pita wrap. Further was the piece of fish of such poor quality, a self-respecting chef would use that only for a Bouillabaisse at best.

2020-11-10I was disappointed. Ive just come back for a visit and decided to get some Greek food. Its been over a year since Ive eaten Yummy Gyro, but I remember it being pretty good. I ordered delivery and asked them to leave it outside. What the driver did was leave the Greek sampler on an angle, not flat. The picture shows what I opened. All of the items were pooled to one area in a sloppy, unappetizing mess. The other picture shows a piece of plastic that I bit into while having some hummus (fairly bland, even before the plastic). How gross...Ill be skipping this place going forward.

2017-10-26This place is great! I am not a Greek food expert but the gyros are very tasty, add the salads are vey fresh. I go here about once a month, they brothers are always there and are vey friendly and helpful, they train the staff great as well. Its a sit down place but they do takeout and delivery, I like to do takeout and chat with one of the brothers. They accept credit and debit cards.

2021-10-03I can understand and longer than average delivery time on a Saturday night. I understand that sometimes the wrong order delivered. What baffles me is how poor the customer service is when trying to respectfully correct the order. I called to say that the $70 order was completely wrong and asked if they could send us the right food. They could not manage to write the correct order down and I had to repeat myself half a dozen times for each item that was wrong. I hate being that guy who writes negative reviews, especially when the food is good! Ownership should address this issue and perhaps assign more seasoned staff to resolve customer issues. Hoping they do so.

2021-05-03I never write reviews anywhere but is not the first time this happens and should be addressed.Not doing a review on the food because it is actually good but the delivery is horrible!! I understand there’s more houses to deliver to but to take 1 HOUR AND 30 MINUTES to deliver when is literally a 8minute drive from the restaurant to my home? That’s ridiculous!The food comes cold by that time and it just loses the crunchy texture. I made my order at 7:30pm and is now 9pm and still no food. How irritating.. even tho I like the food, I probably won’t order again.

2021-01-13I love this restaurant. The service is Excellent. The food is AWESOME. For the appetizers the Grilled Octopus, Fried Calamari and Grape leaves were delicious. I totally recommend the Branzino with grilled vegetables. YUM. Hubby had the Salmon with broccoli and recommends that dish as well. They keep you safe with plastic borders between each table. Waiter was truly attentive to our needs and his choice of wine was spot on.
