The manager Chris is a very nasty person with attitude. He was disgusting and rude and ignoring me when i was nicely trying to ask him something and disregarded what i said and told me to get off the line because “we got things to do and gotta go home”. I was the last person on the line with one item with my card ready to go and leave. What a shame to the Zara company to hire people like this as a manager in the heart of Soho. Not to mention, he did not want to tell me his name when i asked. DISGUSTING,RUDE,NASTY and UNPROFESSIONAL
Pretty standard Zara, not that that’s a bad thing in that I’ve never had a bad experience at any location and this follows suit in that trend. Spacious, well laid out, bright, and clean. One of the larger locations I’ve been to and it does wonders for the spacing between installations and displays. The racks were stocked, table items were folded and neat and out of place items were few and far between. They didn’t have what I was after but employees were quick to assist me and even offered to look online to see if the item was in stock but I opted to do that at another time as I was in a bit of a rush.
I always send my Zara delivery to this location. Im a loyal customer who spent $700 on two orders combined. I asked for a bag and she wanted to charge me 10 cents. Regardless I spent $700 on my mail order. That just showed me no matter how much you spend there will be no courtesy.
I had a great experience at this location. The staff was very professional and friendly. Everything at the store was organized very well, unlike other locations Ive been too which are chaotic. I was easily able to find the items and sizes I wanted. They have a great selection, all the latest fashions on their website was at this location.
Yeesh, the Soho location. If you like crowds, this would a win for you. For me I dont enjoy overly crowded spaces for too long. Dirty places are even worse. For an organization that seems to make a good return on investment it doesnt seem like the worry too much about thier internal affairs. The mens floor at this location is always... always hot. The fitting room is always dirty and the staff is non existent. I was terrified to put my personal belongings down.
Zara is a very clean and wide garments store for both men and women. Store is 4 floors, 2nd floor, 1st floor, basement and sub basement. Store hours Mon-Fri 10am to 8.30pm, Saturday 10an to 9 pm, Sunday 11am to 7 pm. Its located in Broadway and no parking, but very good public transportation available.
Very nice easy layout. Each department was very organized and even though it was packed with people the space is very big and spacious so didnt feel so crowded. Absolutely live the style and although some pieces are somewhat pricey, totally worth it. Great quality we purchased several shoes for the kids and 2 skirts. The skirt fit perfectly and feels so soft! Cant wait to wear the other one ! Wished we had a Zara close... but enjoyed shopping here while in NYC!
I would really encourage customers to not only shop locally not only to invest your money in quality items made out of materials that arent toxic to the production team and the environment but also for the sheer fact that the customer service at Zara is so laughable theyd love you to think youre buying something worth more than 1/16th of the cost (at best). Their return policy is a joke- if you think that a no consideration based 30day return policy without the ability to exchange for store credit (aka the same money in their pocket) is anything short of helping them maintain insane turnover on their fast fashion products, youre mistaken. Please do not waste your time or money supporting this brand.
AWFUL customer service!!!I myself worked at another Zara location in NYC and was surprised to see how I was treated at this location. The curly-haired sales associate in the mens department that helped me out last week was talking away with other employees on the floor and when I asked a simple question, was given a disgusted and annoyed reaction from him. Interaction was very rushed and unpleasant, after I was brushed away, this employee let out an extremely rude aNyWays and went back to chatting away. I get that working retail especially in Zara can be annoying at times but lord this was perhaps the worst service and attitude i have seen. Store itself has a decent layout and was not too messy, lines were extremely long but worst quality was definitely the service and especially from that one employee, repulsive! So much so that i was motivated to leave a review for the first time
They should have an Express line for exchange or returns fewer than X items or something. Was in line for 45 min just to return one item. The service is not thought out at all. Someone in front was returning 2 boxes of stuff which took forever, while the line went out the door. Lots of room for improvement.Might be faster to go to the Bryant park location to make a return and get back honestly.
I like Zara a lot, but this location is a mess. It always feels like a going out of business sale because there’s stuff strewn everywhere and it’s a bit dirty. But it’s a big space so it doesn’t get nearly as crowded as some of the other SoHo shops and also has some great clothes so pros and cons.
Management is a mess. Due to a small incident, the line was blocked for 30 minutes. They could have dealt with it so much better but instead let all the customers in a long line wait for forever. And after the incident with a super long line, they only have one counter that could take credit card. I waited in line for a total of 75 MINUTES. WORST shopping experience ever
Poor customer experience. No hand sanitizer provided, only 2 registers were opened on 2nd floor and ground floor. They dont care if the line is out of the store. There was a customer passed out for a few minutes in front of me because the line was too long or maybe the AC was not cool enough, lack of air flow.
The cashier was completely rude. There is no reason why anyone should feel mistreated. She rung my order up she couldnt even put the receipt in the bag she looked at me and put in on the counter as if I caused her a problem. If youre having a bad day it is not the customers fault. Last time Ill shop at Zara.
Lines during the sales were horrific. Why dont they introduce quick check outs with handhelds like Old Navy? Surely theyd improve customer experience so people would be more likely to come back in? I never buy online anymore after an awful experience with them, frustrating that in-store service is equally as bad.
Pretty nice store. Great selection and generally well kept. The one annoyance is that even though they are open until 7 on Sunday’s they stop letting people in prior to that time. I understand they want to limit their recovery time but people who run here to purchase something last minute are met with disappointment.
This Zara location is poorly managed.I understand the store could be busy, but the customer service here did not live up to its name.I wanted to return this pair of shoes and pants. When the cashier went up to the manager on duty (Misty S), she walked to me with annoyance and seemed like she rolled her eyes at me, as if the items were too worn to be returned. Her body language told me that she could care less and that I was of no importance at that moment. She just walked away and went about her business.I expressed frustration to how dissatisfied I was with the situation. The cashier witnessed what happened and did not express any concern or apologize in any way. I can’t stress how important customer service is nowadays, and there’s so much space for customer service improvement.If I could, I would have given this store a rating of ZERO. Also there was no one there to monitor the need of refilling the hand sanitizer machine at the entrance.
Here is only 1 cashier (out of 4)accepts CASH, and nobody can help you if person in front of you staying/returning/exchanging for almost 1 HOUR !!!! I had to wait person in front of me for 50 MINUTES just to pay for my 3 items. All cashiers refused to help meSimply they could accept my cash payment for 3 min and continue to work with long time customer
I will no longer support a store that has little to no respect for its consumers. The service is shocking. The website the most inconvenient design to navigate. The lines in store are over an hour wait at any given time of day, they refuse to open cash registers that are already on site and won’t open fitting rooms either compounding the line for returns.
Zara has a terrible returning system during COVID times. We are not allowed to try clothes in the shop, which is fine, but, because of that, you’ll probably need to take a few clothing options home and return the ones that don’t fit. Zara does not allow you to return things via mail, instead you have to go in person to the shop and stand more than 40 minutes in line to do so. The smaller line in the shop are just for people who are purchasing new items, not for returns. You have no more value for them when you wanna return items, only when you wanna spend more.
Very clean and big. 3 floors total. LL is men. FL 1 is women and FL 2 is children/ women. Staff is very helpful and patient. Line is always long but it moves quite fast. There are some steals as far as pricing goes, where a childrens shirt cost $5.90 and roller perfumes for women priced almost the same at $5.97. Always look foward to coming here. There is a maybe 10 minute wait when it is busy but very worth the wait in my opinion.
I love zara stores I shop at zara abroad and never felt the way I felt in this store....due to covid 19 the dressing rooms are closed which is understandable, I wanted to buy a blazer so I was just throwing it over me to get a sense of fit I was told I couldnt which I complied however there were quite a few other women trying stuff on and no one bothered them. My hopes is that I was not racially profiled.
This is an amazing store! I always find things here. There are extremely spacious dressing rooms to try your clothing on in. They are always updating they clothing and shoes and accessories. I also found that this is a much better experience than shopping online because here you can feel the fabric and see how it fits on you. They costumbre service is really bad tho. I would like if they upped that.
Its a well organized store. The interior is exceptionally good. The staff is professional and helps the customer in choosing the best product. The quality of their clothes is amazing. The collection is tooo good. They have the best of recent trends available. Ill highly recommend this place.
So I called this a day before ahead asking them if I can exchange a coat I purchased online for a smaller size. The person on the phone told me that they did have the exact same coat in the size that I was looking for and I can exchange my coat at the store. Of course, when I get there, it was a totally different story. First of all, the cashier seemed lazy like she didn’t want to help me or check in the system to see if the coat was in stock. She told me that they don’t have the coat at all. So knowing me, I decided to get a second opinion from another cashier, which he told me that they did have the coat but it’s on a display. Okay the store is super huge, so i felt like they didn’t want to help me find the coat for the exchange. Finally I asked someone on the floor to assist me so when she checked it, she told me that it’s no longer in stock. Okay so I got so frustrated and just left store unhappy. I don’t have time for these people and the games they’re playing, but whatever. I will just either keep the coat or get a refund. Zara needs to train their employees to have a little better customer service.
I had such a hard time with the fitting room staff. I had asked for another size in jackets she told me to wait. 10 min go by when I ask about it she says to try downstairs. I say fine but can I leave the clothes since I wasnt done trying on and was wanting to purchase. I go downstairs to the other fitting room and to cash wrap nothing was called down to them. I go back upstairs to see all my clothes are gone. I ask the attendant why she didnt hold in to my items. She just shrugs. I seriously felt like loosing my mind. Most incompetent staff ever. No wonder I prefer online shopping.
Awful customer service 50% of the time. Obnoxious staff, and flaky. Had to wait 30 min for a coat from the stock room. Amazon would have delivered it faster. The clothing is stylish, but nothing that will last you a lifetime. Awful fabrics and construction. This is not by any standard quality clothing. So better wait for the sale and dont dish out full price on anything. It will go on sale eventually and if you can shop on line save yourself the aggravation. Maybe the sales associates and their HQ will realize why people actually go to a brick and mortar store in this age of online shopping. Good and prompt service.
I love Zara - probably because they always have a wide selection and you can almost always find something exceptional here, even if its only one piece. Their jeans fit me better than any other store and their clothing doesnt feel cheap. Even the employees are nice and helpful. While waiting for the dressing room (on a very long line, I might add), an employee noticed I wasnt feeling well and offered me the next available dressing room. Small acts of kindness dont go unnoticed so I will definitely be returning.
The Zara Soho location is nicely merchandised with plenty of room to wander the aisles. I was surprised by the available range of sizes appealing to diverse customers of all ages. Zara excels at dresses that can go from office to dinner with an accessory or two. Great graphic Ts with pop art, pop culture and even Disney characters. I was immediately drawn to a white daisy patterned shirt. If you are looking for a look, Zara offers friendly fashion at friendly pricepoints. Dont forget to check out the bags and shoes. Try to avoid weekend afternoons when the dressing room and check out lines are long.
They closed all the fitting rooms and didn’t allow us to try anything on. Note, you go to a store, touch all different kinds of clothes while looking for your size, but you are not allowed to try it on. It doesn’t make sense. Government doesn’t make these kinds of restrictions, ZARA does. I hope you guys read my review and think for a second how irrational your restrictions are.What’s a point of going to a store then?I’d rather order everything online and have it all delivered to me. Shoppers, don’t bother coming to a store, save yourself time. Besides, you’ll probably find more sizes available online.
Large and busy, and lots of fun. Clothing quality is atypical to the brand (better than fast fashion, but more expensive to match), they carry a lot of basics with a twist. The sales section here is pretty good, but good luck digging through the crowd to get a better look. Lots of items to look at in terms of clothing, but there should be a bigger mens section and more accessories/jewelry.
( Nothing to do with this store in particular)I feel extremely disappointed with the purchase I made online, I place my order on Saturday 10/17 and it was expected to be delivered between Tuesday and Thursday and I just got an email that my order will be delay 48 hours. The only reason I place my order was because it was guarantee to be there within those days, Im going on Vacation on Friday and now Im not going to use the clothes I bought for that occasion.Never again will buy here again.
I was introduced to Zara by a friend who loves it and I can see why. The quality of the items are excellent and the service is good. However, I can never seem to find a sales clerk when I need one. I simply try on the different garments and wear the ones that look good on me. They have a perfume, which I love. Check it out.
I really like the jeans and casual shirts from here. The prices are reasonable. I do wish that they had more accessories, like jewelry, purses, clutches and scarves. I could spend a lot of money in this store. I wish there were more of them in NJ, I have only ever seen them in NY.
Long lines. More cashiers please! One of the better zaras I have been to in the States. Wide selection, no huge lines waiting to try somrthing on, a lot of mirrors and pretty decent size selection. Need to streamline checkouts. I know Zara cant control customer returns but do something. Waited 40 minutes in line.
For starters I like Zara. They have so many cute looks and some good prices on certain clothing. The store is so organized and very easy to find certain items. I dislike going through disorganized racks where you dont know what you would find. But Zara is organized in every store I go to. Coming in they had a beautiful all white outfit exhibit as you enter which was stunning!
I love the clothing, but what happen to valuing your customers. A few years ago, my items was wrap in tissue paper and put in a roomy bag, now items are just shoved into a tiny bag like I shop at a Thrift Shop. Zara what happen to treating your customers like you value them, it will keep us coming back.
I love Zara as a clothing company, and this space is very large with a large selection. But the layout of the clothing is confusing, there doesnt seem to be an order and the racks are stuffed to overflowing making it difficult to really see the clothing unless you have the time to go through each one.
I love zara. i cant wear a lot of their clothing because the sizes dont go up very high, but i love their accessories. got some great help finding shoes in my size, and theyve got great bags. love the look of the clothes here, and would probably lose my wallet if i could wear them. you get a look that appears very high end, but in actuality, is pretty affordable. very chic and young. just the right pieces for the office that you can then dress down to go out in.
Upon entering this store, one is greeted with a clean, sleek modern decor that is pleasing to the eye. Upon examining the suits for men, one is greeted with cheap, mostly polyester material that isnt worth the asking price. One could easily find higher quality, non-synthetic suits on sale elsewhere. Nonetheless, the styles on display are appealing and if you are not bothered by what Ive said above then Zara may be the fashion store for you.
I always shop at Zara but usually I go to the City Hall location. The dress I was looking for was not available at that store, so I went to Soho. They had the item I wanted. To avoid the line I used the self service device, which charged my card and then shut down without giving me a receipt. The associate came to help and brought me to the cashier, where they made me pay the second time, assuaging me Id get the first payment back in 3 or 4 days. Its been more then a week now and they still never refunded.I reached out to the customer service and they tell me I have to wait another 2 days until someone will contact me. If you go there DO NOT USE self service or Zara will STILL YOUR MONEY and you will have to chase them. Awful and disrespectful a big store double charging and not refunding SHAME
I am so upset. I came home and the security tag was still on it. Now I have to go back to the city Monday to get the tag removed.To Zara management, there is a vulnerability in your physical controls. I was able to purchase something and the sales associate never removed the tag. I called the store and no one answered. So inconvenient.To others, it seems that anybody can take anything and walk out with it.
I am always shopping the SoHo strip and Zara is always a must visit. The store is massive, and as a guy, I truly appreciate a wide mens selection in the basement. They are cycling in new styles regularly, so there is always fresh inventory when I make a shopping trip. If you havent visited, youre missing out.
On my first trip to SOHO, I damaged one of my heels that I was wearing (rookie mistake 😂😩) and ran into Zara to find something cute, flat, and professional. A sweet associate helped me by making recommendations, letting me purchase quickly, and she even cut all the tags off 😂! I got great service and cute shoes! The only downside is that once I arrived back in Ohio I realized I have two different shoe sizes, lol. Nonetheless, thank you for being conveniently located and for great service!
Extremely rude and unprofessional- had my clothes rung up by a high on crack looking cashier, stepped back 5 minutes later to pick up my clothes and its gone! had the store manager deal with my lost and all she did was pushing the responsibilities on me- you forgot to take it, YOUR CASHIER WAS RIGHT THERE, COULDNT SHE MAKE A SOUND AND TELL ME I FORGOT MY CLOTHES? IS SHE BLIND OR IS SHE HIGH? When I asked who took my clothes the manager said its gonna take me too long I cant do it for you- oh so this is what I get for spending money on you guys? Will never shop at Zara again.
Today was my last day purchasing from Zara. I was harassed and racially profiled by a staff member, it turns out the person harassing me was the General Manager, Victor. He was rude, aggressive and dismissive. All efforts to formally report him has proven futile.It’s evident that Zara rewards incompetence and doesn’t value customer feedback. I will continue to try report Victor even if it means reaching out to Zara International and regardless of the outcome, I will never purchase from Zara again. ✌🏾
Extremely horrible service. My partner went in here to exchange something to a different size. Alas, we had purchased it in a different state, with a higher sales tax. The employees and manager refused to allow the exchange, even though the nyc version was *cheaper*! They tried to make him buy another item because they claimed not to have any gift cards to put the minuscule amount he would have remaining. He even offered to give Zara the remaining money, and they refused. Because he didnt have the original credit card on hand, they couldnt do the exchange. Completely insulting and idiotic bureaucracy.
The rascist employees insisted on following me around the store without asking me if I needed help. Felt very uncomfortable even touching anything in that store. A woman employee actually almost bumped me while I was shopping If hadnt moved out of her way. Love the clothes but I cant support a place who doesnt have good customer service .
Fitting room staff barely acknowledged me and were really unfriendly and aloof while I heard them saying let me know if you need help with anything to other customers that came in after me. When I came out the fitting room attendant just looked at me as if judging me. She spent like ten seconds just looking at me and the Muji clothes I was wearing without smiling or saying anything. I felt very unwelcome. I dont typically shop at places like Zara so I get that I dont look like I normally shop there. Last time Im stepping foot in a Zara if your employees are trained to be snobs. Bye!
Im a Zara shopper, most of my clothes is from Zara! But the service sucks over here, the cashier was not helpful at all & when i went to speak to a manager he was rude! Its sad when i love there clothes but the people who work for the company are very rude! Ill take my money somewhere else that has better customer service!
Manger Sara was rude and unprofessional. She override her co worker Ezmeralda who made a decision earlier about my hat return. Glad the other manger Alisa had a common sense and more so was able to make the right decision. I truly think Sara need to learn how to speak listen and respect others.
I use to love shopping at Zaras for their unique style and changing selections. But lately its style has become boring. They use to be a trendsetter, but has become a follower in trying to keep up with the general masses. Its on its way to becoming an H&M and then a Forever 21.
Great womens European style clothing store. Usually the clothes and apparel are expensive in this chic shop. But the upscale expensive shops host the best sales. I got a few bargains. One just has to go shopping and look through the racks. That is the fun part of shopping. The sales staff is very helpful.
Worst experience with a return. Purchased online 12/26/16, and returned at a Zara store located at 503 Broadway, NY, NY. on 1/2/17. Store would not issue a receipt or refund for 3 items.Then would not return the items to me, (already paid for online transaction) stating that the return process was initiated. To date no refund. Told will take 24-48 hours for refund Have called numerous times only to be told same thing. Now they have taken my money, the returned items and I am left with knowing that I will never shop at Zara or Zara online again and that I am out hard earned money. If I could rate them as zero for every aspect of customer service I would.

But today i wanna share my awful experience! Location of this store is 503 Broadway street soho location!!! I went on the second floor to the fitting room with whatever i wanna try, then i have to get another size and i ask employee over there that i need a size bigger ... I was waiting around 20 min and keep asking her for how long i have to wait more she was telling me 2 minutes...2 minutes... I couldnt wait more and i went my self to pick up the right size..Downstairs i ask another employee for piece and size that i need ... He finger me the place where it will be and never bring me anything How this is possible? What kind of service is that??? So after i went back upstairs to tell her that i got whatever i need and i wanna try she told me in a sarcasm manner that i have to get in the line again, after that i called manager and she went to her and ask her, she told them that im lying that she brought me the size and i said that i dont need no more... Which is unexpectable at all,, so how would the manager let her talk that customer is a lier?? So manager let me use kids fitting room, which im thanking to her but still what kind of employees they have... After i try and pick the right size i went to the register on the second floor, was waiting in the line around 15 minutes when cashier told me that those registers for return and exchange... So where the sign for that? Ofcourse i end up bying nothing and left without anythingI usually go to 5 avenue store and never ever had any experience like that ... I buy something every week from Zara but this location never see me again and i bet a lot of other customers!! Worse location ever!!!! Feel bad for zara owners!!!I hope you take any action!!! The customer service of this location worse then any store i can imagine!!!!
This store at this location is horrible spot to shop in.... The cloths are nice but the customer service is cancer. Very VERY VERY RUDE and UNBELIEVABLY HORRIBLE SERVICE. Every employee there gives you a attitude. Please avoid this location if you need help in the store.... You will be pissed/mad once you leave this store.
Zara used to be the place to shop lately theyve been slacking the pants down graded cant find the pants that me and my friends loved I believe they stop it A year and a 1/2 ago and I was there yesterday the doorman didnt let me back in with my niece she was cold and we were waiting for my sister even tho he saw me leave I was so furious I couldnt get my car (my niece was to cold to walk so far shes only 5) they should teach the guards To use their brains when it comes to this
I came here to return some boots that didnt fit and asked for a different pair in my size, the guy gave me the wrong size and walked off. When we tried to call him he pretended to not hear us smh horrible customer service! No one even asks if you need help! I just left.

2022-04-07Unprofessional and poor management, they advertise a pair of shoes with 2 different prices, with the lowest price showing to the costumer only to say ohh we made a mistake, this is the eu price, but you can pay more !!! It was such a turn off , it wasn’t actually about the money it was the principal that they messed up, but wouldn’t take accountability for there mistakes,, Zara Managment team is the worst and need better solutions to costumer service, being that I am a fashion director for many, I think this is the last time they will see me , it’s been other crazy days at Zara, the clothes are looking cheaper now anyway!!!

2022-06-27I had to buy 3 items at the Zara Soho NY. The cashier wasn’t able to scan the items cause the computer wasn’t working. The cashier called the manger 3 times and the manager seemed was playing and laughing with the other coworkers instead of fixing it or doing something and when I asked if they can scan my items at another computer he responded” impossible “ , rudely ( at other No Zara stores they do it instead of let the customer waiting half an hour for 3 items.)I left without buying any items. All the staff there behave like they are working for the president but they have to understand they are just losers that are not capable to find better jobs. Very unprofessional. Very very very bad experience

2022-06-29Horrible experience. The store was blazing hot, the fitting room lines were 20 minutes long, and the cashier lines were 3x as long. I stood in line for 15 minutes and saw 2/10 people in front of me move. I asked an employee if there was any way we could get more cashiers and she was rude and dismissive and told me to go to another line. All three stories had lines twice as long! Meanwhile I saw tens of employees walking around the store! Whoever that was should get fired. Long dark hair, short, young female with a glazed over look. I just resigned and put away the clothes I took an hour picking out and left. Wasn’t worth waiting another 40 minutes to check out. Will never be returning

2022-05-25Maybe its just the location, but this one is terrible. Long lines for fitting rooms and making returns. The employees are friendly, but why have only 2 cashiers doing returns when the line is 20-30 people. The line for regular purchases has two cashiers and that line had like 2 people. They need to do better with the lines situation. Otherwise the store is huge and has great selections of womens wear and childrens wear.

2022-03-03I literally just had the best experience at this store on Broadway. I went in to get a leather jacket after seeing a few online. As I got to the mens section I only saw one out of the assortment they had online so I asked the sales rep for some assistance on finding any other that they may have in store. The rep was eager to help and told me they were a few options in the back. He came back with the most gorgeous leather jacket I have ever seen. Although I’m a medium he brought back a large and he explained why he brought the large instead of a medium. His decision made so much sense to me. I tried on the large and loved it but I also wanted to try the medium, no problem, Henry went into the back and brought the medium back out. I fell in love again. Long story short, I bought the medium, but I was so ecstatic that I also bought a pair of jeans. 2022-05-23Probably one of the worse Zara’s I have been to in the country, when it comes to the selection of clothes available. I just came from Miami and the collection there was newer and even seemed of a higher quality. The store was chaotic, too small for the amount of people.

2022-05-08The people are not really trained to give you receipt or how to operate the zara QR codeand all. People there working not helpful, not knowledgeable,nothing works here. Never wanna come back. Rather go to different Zara store that actually can provide you the store experience with the full functionality.
