Slices were big but gummy and hard,ruined my Sicilian slice when reheated. Ordered vodka and penne got all the way home 25 min and it was marinara! Never go back
In the Buffalo area helping kid move out of UB - this IS traditional NYC/Brooklyn/LI style pizza and having relocated out of state I cannot say enough - THE BEST. Dont even play with anywhere else lol. Thank goodness I found this before harsh reality sets back in.
Wife went in to order and received wrong order, manager/owner refused to come out several times until she just asked for a refund. Then he decided to come out, yelling at her, and ultimately threw $10 at her. Literally. Shes getting a charge back to get her money back but Im thinking this will be a small claims court situation. Always easy to yell at a lady when the husband isnt present big guy.
ABSOLUTELY the worst PIZZA(?) we have ever had! PAPER THIN, DRY AS A BONE, CRUST HARD AS S ROCK, & BEST OF ALL, BOTTOM BURNT. COULD BARELY CUT WITH A STREAK KNIFE. THE CRUST WAS INEDIBLE. AFRAID OF BREAKING A TOOTH. SHOULD BE ABLE TO GIVE 0 STAR.
Stop here every month or two, grab a delicious slice. Stopped again, great meal. Plus, new guy at the counter. Looked like Timothee Chalumet in an apron. Talk about a delicious slice. Ill be back!
Listen when I heard this was the best pizza in WNY , I couldn’t believe until I tried it myself . Hand down this is the best pizza I ever had .Cheers 🍻 to the staff and employees that makes this pizza so good that melt my mouth hmmm. I’ll honestly eat 10 pizza from this place and never get tired of it . KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK FOR YOURE FEEDING SOME HUNGRY MOUTHS😂😂❤️.

This place is so nice. The pizza was crispy and the workers were friendly. You cant taste too much flour. Plenty of cheese and pizza sauce.If I only chose the restaurant according to the Google review, I wouldnt have visited here.Worth grabbing a bite!!
This is the Best Pizza in Western New York. Hands Down. It is the only New York Style that is authentic NY Style pizza. The slices are huge and the pizza is amazing. My only complaint would be the price. it is very expensive for pizza.
The pizza is amazing, the slices are gigantic, and the staff is just lovely! A very pleasant, quick dinner when we were in a rush.

Was considering ordering off DoorDash but they’re the only place I’ve come across where you have to pay extra to get a side of blue cheese with your wings, where every other pizza place in Buffalo comes with at least one.

Ordered to go, and when I got home I found a piece of hair in my pizza. I did not want to head back so I called, and some women picked up the phone. I was trying to be polite, but I didnt even get a sorry. Great customer service there. If youre the owner of this restaurant, and you are reading this you should probably hire someone that represents your business well.All I got was a umm... you want to come back and ill give you another slice
This place was Amazing!Huge portions of the best tasting Italian food you can find.We had pizza, Lasagna, Spaghetti with meat sauce, and Ziti with sausage. We also ordered some fresh sourdough bread.Everyone in my group took leftovers home.It was my first time here while traveling to N.Y. and I hope to be back.Highly recommend this place.
Pizza is pretty excellent; price is very ouch. The landscaping company I used to work for would bring us here and I apprdciste the gesture much more now that I know the prices for myself.But as for the quality of the pizza, its honestly almost worth it. Over $8 for two slices with no lunch special does hurt those of us trying to celebrate Friday on a light budget.
I didnt eat this time around but Ive eaten there plenty of times before and its always good. They have a very good variety of pizza. Many different kinds. If you like thick, pan pizza dont come here unless you make an exception. This is thin and slices are large. Its NY Style Pizza

Pizza is good for the proximity to my office. You guys need a lighted sign or something to let folks know if youre actually open or not. Google says you are, but Ive stopped by a few times now in the lunch hours to find the doors locked and employees in the store. The last time was 2:30 in the afternoon, so Im guessing you just had people not show up to work or something.
Love this place! The wonderfully nice lady owner is so friendly, and so efficient! Gigantic slices, thin crispy crust. Lots of different choices, from ricotta Broccoli, to chicken finger... highly recommended. We will def return!
Fabulous food made by truly good people. John, Christine and their staff are always very welcoming and ensure your visit is a pleasant one. The pizza is excellent and the varieties are impressive - same goes for the many delicious pasta dishes. My family has been happy customers for years - highly recommended!
This has been our go-to pizza place for 11 years (since we moved to Tonawanda). We have regularly ordered our family favorite (ham pizza) every Sunday with happiness. The last few months, quality and dependability have gone way down. Understandably, their hours change as they are struggling to staff the place. The dependability could easily be remedied by maintaining Facebook with daily posts about the hours. I am completely fine with hours fluctuating as long as there is communication - or at least a message on the phone! No one answers the phone and there isnt a message for the days theyre closed. Today was the last straw as theyre open, but not answering the phone. We were already out so we decided to just stop in - while they are open, theyre not making pizza as no one knows how. Im so bummed because this is definitely the best pizza place in the area, but we cant depend on it any longer.
Going down hill! What used to be our favorite pizza place has now disappointed us twice. Cold under cooked and it took 45 min for a pizza one day. Third time and we switch. To Olisis Pizza for good.
Best NYC style pizza in the area. Hours and quality can be inconsistent but for sure worth stopping in.
If youre looking for something outside of the realm of Buffalo-style pizza, I highly recommend Zettis: New York-style at its best!
Last time I ordered from here,I ordered 20 wings and only got 10. I went back and let them know and they made it right. Today 11/14, I ordered 20 wings again and the woman remembered what happened and was very kind and apologetic about the mishap and it means alot to me. Highly recommended, good food great customer service. Love this place
Best pizza Ive ever had in buffalo hands down. This is the pie Ive been searching for. Perfect crispness, super thin. Its like the NYC pizza you hear food critics rave about. A lot of pizza in Buffalo is super thick and sloppy. This was a breath of fresh air. Thank you.
Very rude and disrespectful staff! So I ordered A veggie pizza and I told the person on the phone that I don’t want Broccoli with my pizza though. When I arrived there to pick up the pizza I told the person in the front that I said specifically not to put Broccoli on the pizza which there was. He acknowledged that he made a mistake but the person in the back that was making pizza rudely disrupts my conversation with the cashier and said that the slip did not mention no broccoli. The cashier admitted that it was his own mistake, however the cook showed that he was annoyed and made it clear that he didn’t want to make me another pie. He told me it would’ve took 45 minutes to an hour to make another pizza which is absolutely ridiculous so I had to take the original pizza that I didn’t even wanted but still had to pay for. I definitely know I’m not coming back here nor recommend anyone to!
The is now the second time Ive experienced horrible customer service and I am fed up.The phone is answered please hold you cant even get a word in first. Was I even speaking to Zettis....Ordered ONE calzone online received 2 texts messages with order taking longer each message. 55 min for pickup???. Wanted to cancel could only do by calling, put on hold forever then disconnected, called back John answers same kid hello please hold no business name. Requested manager his response were busy so youre gonna have to wait til shes done with an attitude like Im inconveniencing him WHAT!? Manager picks up says hello, I ask who Im speaking with she responds Its me this is who you have in charge of your establishment? Are you kidding me??I explained situation to her Rachel (all I wanted to do was cancel my order as I was not going to wait an hour) only to be told were super busy, were short staffed, trying to hire. If its that crazy wheres the owner? He should be there jumping in and taking care of his business. Thats an owners job.If youre going to assign an employee to the phone you better be sure he knows how to speak articulately and courteously. Rudest phone manners. Customers keep the business open, customers pay for employees wages. Again if it werent the second time being treated so terribly I would have just let it go.
Massive slices of great thin crust NY style pizza at a super great price! The selection is endless, a flavor for every tastebud!
I really like their pizza and used to stop in once a week but now you never know when they will be closed. One day pulled up to a gone fishing sign on the door. Another day I pulled in with 3 other cars and the guy inside locked the door and slapped a closed Wednesday sign on the door. Cant bother to waste time and gas driving there anymore.
Whenever I am within a 15 min ride of Zettis I go. Its my favorite Buffalo pizza place and is all around excellent. When you walk in you get confronted with so many types of slices you need a minute to fully understand what you need to do. On top of slices the rolls are excellent. I recommend anything with chicken, they are all great. I also recommend getting two slices, one for later as youll want one.
This is real New York style thin crust pizza, and it used to be consistently excellent. Its not consistent anymore. Some employees make great pizza and others do not. Its hit-or-miss now.
In Buffalo to visit relatives from Toronto. Amazing 👏 food and service. Better than the local pizza. Keep up the Amazing serivce
We got 4 slices the other day, ricotta and broccoli, bacon chicken ranch, buffalo chicken, and roni with banana peppers. They were awful. The chicken just tasted like grease. The ricotta was really bland and the banana peppers had no taste. We use to come here all the time and it was hands down the best pizza. So disappointed. Twenty bucks for four slices that we threw out and grabbed a 5 pizza at 7/11 that was way better. The staff was nice and the place did look clean so I gave it 2 stars.
College nostalgia. The interior has been the same as long as I can remember. But that doesnt matter. Having so many slice options to choose from is awesome. Huge slices. This has now become a tradition before any UB show.

Visited while moving my daughter into UB.Very much has the decor, style and taste of a NYC type pizza joint. The pizza was delicious and the overall experience quite enjoyable.

I called just now regarding a poorly made order. The manager Christine was very lovely and helpful, but as soon as the owner got on the phone, he was extremely rude, told me that he very very rarely get complaints (which as Im reading reviews on here now is clearly not the case), said ok? And hung up the phone on me. Ive gotten a fair amount of decent orders from here and only had an issue with the order prior to this as well as my order last night. I assumed it was a fluke and was very polite on the phone. Now I will never order from this place again if thats how they treat their customers. Inexcusable.
Use to be my favorite pizzeria in Buffalo. Now whenever I go either it’s closed or theyre closed early. Or they cant never deliver even though me and my wife live a mile down the road. So now when we drive there and when we use to go last year or even a couple months back they would have a wide variety of slices. Now when we go there are barley any slices available and the staff now I have noticed has become very rude and it takes about 30 minutes to get one slice of cheese pizza when it use to take 30 seconds.

Don’t eat here!!!!!! place is infested with RATS. I saw a baby one and a big one while I was eating with my daughter the other day. The guy with the grey hair saw them and did nothing about it . I will be calling the health department on Monday. This place is literally disgusting!!!!! Not to mention the staff is very rude like they are upset that I’m ordering a slice of pizza for my kids. I’ll never eat here again!
Best damn NY style pizza in all of WNY. You wouldnt believe it but their pasta dishes rival the top Italian restaurants in the area too. I highly recommend this place.

Ordered two large pizzas, knots and garlic bread. Entire meal was cold and rubbery. Part of our order was forgotten about until I walked through the door to pick up my order. The girl was nice and gave me a liter of cola on the house but the price was way too high to justify going back for that quality of food.
Quick service for BIG SLICES of pizza. Even for a made to order pizza it was 14 minutes. I had the veggie pizza with cheese broccoli onion mushrooms banana peppers tomatoes sweet red peppers artichoke hearts spinach garlic and white pizza sauce. It was big for a medium and loaded with toppings. Oh by the way it was delicious as well! They have a nice and expansive menu and I am sure that the other items are as good as the 🍕. The restaurant was clean and the employees were attentive and knew what they were doing. I will definitely be returning to sample the rest of the menu!
If you have a taste for NY style pizza but dont want to order a whole pie or feel heavy after eating it, try a slice of one of their delicious veggie pizzas. My favorite is the Greek pizza which is loaded with all of the ingredients you would expect including feta cheese. Spinach and tomato or spinach alone are also pretty good if you are a spinach lover. Staff is very friendly, laid back, and aim to please. This location near the UB North campus has been open for more than 10 years. If youve always driven by but never stopped in, give them a try. Their pizza slices are large; one or two slices should be enough for lunch.
Food is good, but the bathroom was an absolute mess. Doesnt look like it was cleaned in a very long time.If you cant keep the bathroom cleaned, what other sanitation are being missed? Made me double guess what I ate.
Everything I ordered was burnt and tasted wrong. Not to mention both pizzas were cold. Very disappointed.
Normally great, dont buy the chicken pizza. Had wayyy to much grease almost filled the takeout container with grease couldnt even finish my lunch, disgusting. Cheese and pepperoni is usually great tho.
Really liked it Multiple (12?) Pizza combos cooked and available with a couple minutes of reheating by the gargantuan slice. And authentic NY pizza. Other items available too. Most seem to take out but ample casual in-house seating. Very thankful I am from out of town and cannot gain 30lbs eating here twice a day every day.
Thin, Brooklyn-style pizza. Lots of topping options. Tasty crust & cheese. Quite yum. I usually get the extra large because the crust is especially thin. Calzones very good, too. I have only had take out. They also have a wide range of subs & traditional Italian dinner items I havent tried. No atmosphere. Families with young kids would be fine here.
I have been going to zettis for 5 years without a complaint however this time I mentioned that business owners need to pay their fair share of taxes and low and behold my spaghetti was made completely different with sliced tomatoes dumped on top and as soon as the first bite was eaten I could tell they were spoiled tomatoes!!! 100% rotten spoiled tomatoes! I called them to let them know and return the spaghetti and the owner himself told me to check myself into mental health at ECMC. Rude, unprofessional disrespectful and completely ignorant obviously not educated. I called the health department and the Amherst police to file a report for tampering with the food. Do not trust these immoral and unethical liars. 5 years of buying meals from them and not a single complaint until today and this is how they treat me.
Drive 5 miles to find a flattened pizza box taped to the window they are closed Wednesdays in August. Thanks for the heads up! Wont waste my time driving here again.
Its convenient and the Pizza is good especially if it is fresh out of oven. You get a slice big enough for a meal. However you never know how long the pizza has been sitting out on the warming tray. If you ask they will not tell you like it is some big secret or they might not know. You would think they would keep track. I have seen several pizzas sitting out that look pretty dried up. I usually just get a slice of whatever looks the freshest. Never disappointed. Very good!!! I would give 3.5 but it does not let you.
Wow! Finally a pizzeria in Buffalo, with true New York Pizza. Great big slices that are thin enough to fold, like a true New Yorker. The garlic knots are the best Ive ever had, even beats Manhattan.
What a huge selection of legit NY pizza. I really enjoyed my lunch here. Ill return next time im in Buffalo.
Food is great. -1 star because at least one staffmember is rude every time, without fail. Been going here for years so not a small sample size.Fun fact: last visit, someone complained that a salad was taking too long to make and an employee told him to go down the street to Wegmans if he didnt like it lol

Disappointing. The pepperoni mushroom pizza we ordered was ONLY mushroom and had next to no flavor. To top it off, the crust was soggy! How do you get a NY style thin crust to be soggy? Certainly not the typical experience with Zettis, so chalking it up to someone having a bad day at work. Hopefully not a sign of it going down hill.
Slices of pizza over $4 but theyre big and decent quality. I recommend you asking them to make your pizza a little crispy when its in the oven. they sit on those tables all day and they tend to get a little soggy so thats why. They have a great beverage selection the service is always pretty fast to be honest with you. Ive enjoyed many lunches things like fettuccine alfredo which is super yum.
Excellent slice of cheese pizza -- stringy cheese, thin crispy crust but not a cracker, not too much sauce so the cheese didnt slide off the crust, delicious! J ust what I wanted today for lunch!

This is some of the best pizza I have had in such a long time. My three year old loved it too! Husband and I are always looking for new pizza spots and its a shame we live in Rochester! Hopefully we will be out this way again. Great pizza and really great staff too.
I love the pizza here, unfortunately the place has been closed the last two times I’ve tried to eat there, Google says it’s open, but it’s closed. Please update your hours of operation so we can all know if you are open or closed, and don’t waste our time driving to the restaurant just to find it closed!!!

2022-05-29Ordered a 16 inch cheese pizza and it was good. It was simple and it had a decent thickness. It wasnt greasy at all. The crust was pretty crispy. I kinda wish the pizza was has bit more cheese. Everything else was good.

2022-01-24We read the reviews, they were mixed, but we are in a snow storm and next door at the hotel so we decided to go for it. We started to order online and was somehow transferred to Slices for delivery, so we called the store to walk over and pick it up instead. It took less than 20 minutes for an extra large cheese/pepperoni with half of the pizza including sausage, mushroom, banana pepper. 14 minutes later, weve eaten the entire pizza! Its toasted, crispy, chewy, with topping that are piled high, and the sauce is delicious. My husband said there are slices if every kind of pizza you can imagine, which means we will be back again. This i what pizza is all about, especially the first time around. Our only wish was that the mushrooms were fresh and not canned. Great job!

2022-02-08Ive come here before in the past and it was good. Today though, phenomenal! So good that Im writing a review. The staff were friendly, restaurant was clean, order was followed to a T and ready when Slice (an app that you can order pickup through) said it would be! Tasted amazing and all drinks were stocked and cold. The best take out Ive had in a while. It made me feel like I got my moneys worth for the quality received.

2022-01-22Its hard to explain this one in buffalo!! We have the best pizza style in the world!! Zettis has the only true N.Y. city style pizza in the wny area that I know of!! Unfortunately they are located a good distance from me, I do stop if Im in that area and enjoy 2 slices and a pop!! Definitely recommend them.

2022-03-28I ordered a pizza on slice and unfortunately the driver must have taken a few sharp turns. Zettis staff was amazing and remade a brand new pizza for me. Amazing customer service and of course the best pizza around! Highly recommend.

2022-04-07Just go in for slices! Takeout is sub par hereOrdering a whole pizza is a big gamble and basically the slices are just a way better deal. You can choose them, and make sure it looks good before they crisp it up for you. I wouldnt order anything again due to price, size, and quality for that price.I will continue to go for slices because its not bad, but I see clearly whats happening here with the whole xl pizza situation.

2022-07-08We have been coming to the same place for so many years and lately this past year things have gone downhill in service and attentiveness of the employees. I Asked them nicely to only heat up pizza for a minute so that way my 3 year old can enjoy her favorite pizza. They decided to ignore my request and put it in the oven for about 5 minutes which makes it impossible for my hungry child to eat right away. The workers clearly need to understand how to listen as the people working here are in high school. The worker asked if it was to go or stay in and I answered to stay please. Then they give us our pizza in a box to go. We are now going to be finding a new place as this one clearly doesn’t pay attention to what they are doing anymore.

2022-04-24I wasnt disappointed. They have excellent pizza, variety of foods to explore. Had many pizzas ready to devour lol.Ended up ordering two ricotta cheese slices and my other half had one white broccoli and one tomato, broccoli, crispy chicken, peppers and tomato pesto sauce slice.I will be returning in the near future. Wanna try meatball Parm soon

2022-03-28Our first time ordering from Zettis. We go a cheese with pepperoni. The flag was great. The crust maybe a little soft toward the center, but we would order it again. We also got the Hawaiian. What a treat. Love the shaved ham. We are used to a Hawaii with some sauce. I would have liked some more sauce or maybe a better drizzle of honey. We will be back again. Overall it was a great experience.
