Have worked with Ziebart for quite some time, at a dealership service level. Always professional and will go above and beyond to make things work out.
Twice I had them do detailing work to m 2013 Tacoma and twice it was very shoddy. The first time they were suppose to do this super clay bar job that was suppose to get rid of superficial scuffs and scratches and it looked the same after the first time I washed it. This last time they did the detailing they left all the spray from the wax buffing all over the truck and it doesnt come off. Never again............Ill let them do my inspection for my warranty and that will be it. Even that has been shoddy. They get that stuff all over the wheels and places it shouldnt be and the I have to clean it . NEVER AGAIN.........UPDATE: Talked to corporate and was told they would contact local Ziebart and the local business would get back to me. Never heard a thing from them. No more business from me.
I bring my car there every year for undercoating. Usually I get service from a very helpful guy named Joe. This year I additionally purchased the Scratch and Scuff package. Joe was very clear about what could and what couldnt be done with the scratches on my car. As the team was working on my car they asked me to take a look at a scratch they were unable to completely remove. Joe said that given that, if I chose to stop the process I would not be charged. This is what I call good service. Recommended.
I was greeted by Randy OConnor. He was both professional and personable. I was there for my annual warranty inspection on a 2013 vehicle I own. They took it in immediately and began the process of washing both the top and the underside, so they could do the inspection. This is a lengthy process especially in the winter months,as the vehicle needs to dry off considerably before a proper inspection of the top side and underside can be done. Randy brought me into the shop to show me several scratches that were found on my vehicle during the inspection of the finish. They were minor scratches, but he made recommendations on a corrective solution and let me know that the underside was in great condition. During that inspection they not only inspected the outside of my vehicle, but also vacuumed the carpets.I was very pleased with the service, by not only Randy OConnor, but the technicians in the shop, who were very friendly and showed pride in there work.The vehicle came out looking like it did on the dealer showroom floor.Thank you Ziebart of Binghamton, Great Job
Had my truck undercoating put on and wouldnt buy any of the extra services really felt like any customer appreciation was gone. When I picked the truck up I knew it was gone as they left a 80+ thousand truck parked unlocked with the keys in it over night on State street in Binghamton I was lucky this time you may not be next time. (12/31/20) After getting a chance to crawl under the truck to look at things there are gobs of undercoat on the chrome exhaust tips and power running boards. Very disappointing. (2/5/2021) finding over sprayed undercoating on paint everywhere, inside of tailgate is completely over sprayed and paint is ruined. If you use this place be prepared to spend thousands or get screwed over if you dont.(2/21/21) Ziebart has been in contact and offered to try and remove the overspray once I get the truck out from winter storage. Will update.
This is the third car that I have had rustproofed and undercoated, and had the waxing pkg done. Randy OConnor sales Mgr. has taken care of us and has been great. Last time because it was going to take 2-3 hours he drove us down to Boscovs and picked us up. Cant ask for better job or service. Great to do business with.
Clear coat film peeled off within a month, put too large of mud flaps on causing car to rub anytime you turned the wheel, had mechanic look over job and they ziebarted over the spare tire instead of removing it and spraying under it correctly. We are over 2 hours from this location, went back again to have them address all issues, they agreed that mud flaps were over sized, corrected other issues but now a month later, the new mud flaps are rubbing on tire as well! Not looking forward to another 2 hour each way trip to have them correct this again. Oh an also, I left my purse on the back floor of the SUV and on way home, realized that someone was in my purse and stole the little bit of cash that I had in it ($10 but its the principal and violation)
Every year I bring my 2009 Dodge 3500 Crew Cab in to have the rust proofing touched up. It is a free Service, the truck is huge. Every year the Ziebart people carefully touch up the rustproofing free of charge. Cant beat the Service. They are awesome. Thank you.
Have had last 3 cars undercoated. Annual service is free. They also do great work at buffing and sealing small nicks and scratches making them unnoticeable. Also have them put invisible guards on areas that are prone to this. Preferred customers get a reasonable discount on these services and with Ziebart card, 6 months to pay without interest.
I came here to talk with Joe about getting my truck undercoated. Joe told me if a special that is going on at the moment. All of their packages totalling $3200.00 for ONLY $1699.00....So I am definitely jumping on this.Very nice people to deal with.
[edited]Had an issue with what I thought I was buying and what I actually got. I had a couple rust spots after I purchased rust protection. Explained my situation with Ziebart and they responded the next day and did what they could to help me out the day after that.Excellent customer service by both corporate and my local store in Binghamton. Joe took care of me.
What a pleasant surprise to receive the Mini Detailing coupon in the mail from Ziebart. since I havent even been able to wash my car in thisextremely cold weather. They did a wonderful job - both inside and out -in a relatively short time. I have found everyone at Ziebart to be friendly,efficient and helpful , especially Joe Oliver who has taken care of meboth times.
I recently took my minivan to have the rust proofing inspected and touch up. After I left they called and suggested that I get splash guards I looked them up online for a set of 4 that are custom got would be $90. Ziebart price was $149 plus tax. So I said go ahead and install them. When I went to pick it up they put on just a generic one-size-fits-all splash guard. I was disappointed to say the least.
Thai company is unreliable. They don’t adhere to car warranties and they are not open when they say they are. It’s a company based out of Michigan. I recommend other places that are more professional and reliable.
NOTE TO EVERYONE- Ziebart Binghamton - when we purchased out 2007 Ford Expedition xl we took it right to ziebart to have it undercoated with the top of the line service fo used cars, with yearly inspections and touch ups. The touch up was in November. Two months ago we saw our rocker panels deteriorating and now one is rusted right through. I just got off the phone with a manager (Randy) that said yes, when they undercoat it, they do look at the body that they can see and will note any signs of rust. TWICE they went over our whole SUV and SAID NOTHING TO US. In 6 months it went from fine to completely rusted through. They refuse to assume any responsibility or do ANYTHING ABOUT IT. For what we paid for the service, you would think their customer service would be better than that. I will never recommend their service to anyone !!!
This will be the third vehicle I have taken to Ziebart of Binghamton. Randy and the team have been excellent . Randy always goes out and checks vehicle over when done, and there is anything that he doesnt like it is taken care of right then. Great job

Never did the work I was charged for even after my yearly inspection I was told that I was all set things looking good my Curious mind went further in depth checked at a different location to find out the work was never done do not trust these people they scratched my truck told me I needed to buy the touch up paint to fix they never took down spare tire to undercoat the truck properly they never put the filler in the doors for the sound dampening and rust proofing
Had all my vehicles rustproofed there plus I have my cars detailed there. Very pleased about the free annual rustproofing check.
Going to ziebart is like going to the doctors. Ugh. Just takes much longer. Sorry I bought the yearly maintenance contract.

2020-12-10For around $1000.00 on a full coverage spray they were absolutely sloppy. I wouldnt recommend this location to anyone. They seem polite over the phone but are completely disrespectful towards your vehicle. I have multiple areas with overspray, I have areas where the spray was applied overly thick and spray on the tires. I picked up my vehicle after hours took pictures in their parking lot and left a voice-mail expressing my concerns about the quality versus money paid and no one ever reached out to me. I know another person who recently had their hummer done there and he also had a horrible experience and felt disrespected when he confronted them about it. He said they didnt even seem too care. Please drive the hour elsewhere and get the quality work done that you believe youre paying for.

2021-05-27Horrible, would not recommend to anyone with a new vehicle.Paid for the under coat and rust protection and ended up with multiple tiny scratches all over my vehicle, along with over spray on my spare tire as well as the inside of my rims and the outside of my fenders.They tried to say that the undercoat on my fenders looked like sap they cleaned it off. As far as the scratch, its on the hood that I surely would have noticed since this vehicle is only 4 days off the lot. They didnt deny them doing it, but their fix was to rub some kind of machine polish over the scratch.The polish did lighten the scratch, but it is still there.I paid them over $900 to have them add protection to my vehicle, but Intead they added damage.I will not be returning, even for their free inspection.

2016-08-25I bought a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee and brought it in to be detailed. When I purchased the vehicle, the dealership gave me the keys to it and it was filthy inside (a whole different issue). Scheduled a detailing service over the phone and specifically told the gentleman about the seats having some sort of water stain in them that I couldnt get out. He tells me, Oh yes, Jeeps of that year had a special fabric in them that stains easily and weve seen it before, but dont worry, we have a machine that can steam the fabric and basically tells me it wont be an issue. So I drop it off, get a call within a day or two to come pick it up, drive down at night and grab it, and to my surprise the stains were still in the seats with absolutely no difference.Yes, they did do a good job on the rest of the detailing, I wont discount their work. However, my concern was solely about the seats and I had stressed that to the gentleman. That was my main reason in spending over $150 to have it cleaned. And he specifically told me that they were equipped to do it.Overall- good detailing work. But I feel like I was more or less ripped off by being convinced they could handle it. And for $150, I expected it. If I had been told that there was even the slightest chance it couldnt have been done, I wouldnt have brought it in.

I highly recommend prospective customers to take their vehicles new and old to be preserved through the New York winter rust issues that we are all too familiar with.
