I have been studying English at Zoni language for five months and as time goes by I feel more interested and excited in learning English.Zoni Language English has an interesting method to teach English. Beside the flexibility in time of learning, the teachers have a unique way in teaching and they are very friendly and always appreciate the students in everything they do.The experience that I got from Zoni New York City is incredible and invaluable.
Zoni was a great experience. Besides always interesting classes, I had a chance to meet many great people from all over the world, learn about their culture. I have improved my English-Language skills a lot and without Zoni center I could never accomplish that in this short period of time with a lowest budget. Moreover my cousin since she arrived in New York, even her name was changed. All her life she has been very vain and she is pretending that she comes from a family with a lot of money. She was having problems since she arrived at another institution other than Zoni where she arrived and she was paying $415 dollars per week because she was trying to pretend that she is from high society, we arrived at the same time and today I speak more English than her, the worst thing is that she ran out of money and convinced her to go to Zoni where I am and the first thing she did was complain about a chair and where she only pays here at Zoni $105 per week, that means 395% less than what she pays at the other institution and in the other institution there was nobody few students because I went to look for her several times, instead here at Zoni it is a real school, students from everywhere from all countries and from all backgrounds I have a great time and today I have many friends in New York where I thought I was going to feel alone before my trip but its the opposite every day and weekend I have something to do because there are many invitations this is the reality of Zoni and I will never judge it by a chair. Thank you Zoni.
As a father of two beautiful kids, I always wished the very best for my family and for myself. For 8 years, I was a high school math teacher but the time came for change, I wanted to help develop the educational system of my country; I wanted to be involved in the process that would combine and apply American and British assessment grading systems. With this future in mind, I came to New York planning to do my Master’s degree.Before I came to New York, I was given one piece of good advice, “To wake up, walk, eat, sleep, dream and drink English language”; to the stream that means that I should spend every minute of my day immersed in English and this is what I did! I decided to come to Zoni because of its reputation and here I was able to live the advice given to me . I was able to practice my English not just in class but also during the lunch, in the evening through social programs and with the new friends I had made.Learning can come with different challenges for different people. I faced the challenge of adapting myself learning style from Emirates to American. My teachers quickly understood my goals and my difficulties so I was able to receive the help I needed and adapt my learning successfully. Through this process, I learned the value of feedback so much so that I even did my master’s project on how Emirate students understand feedback.After gaining the TOEFL score that I needed, I was able to gain entry into a Masters at LSU. While at LSU, I maintained strong ties with my teachers here at Zoni. Our student manager, Krisnaday, did a phenomenal college acceptance students party. Thank you! I missed you.
I love my experience in ZONI institute. The institute is sensational and very organized, I am every day more fluent in English and I enjoy knowing people and cultures from several countries, wonderful. Also the events that they do to involve the people ♥ are great!
My experience was very good, I like being able to share with many students from different countries and at the same time practicing the language with them. I also like the school activities that Zoni organizes with its students to reinforce their English skills and enjoy the city. Great outdoor activities!
Today I have decided to write this feedback since my stay at the Zoni Institute has been excellent. When I enrolled for the classes the people were very kind and what they offered me until today has been provided. I love the teachers and they are making you feel at home and not be afraid or ashamed. But most importantly the prices are very favorable according to what I had already seen. I found some wonderful friends who have made me feel super here in America and less miss my country.¡Ha sido una experiencia increíble! Los maestros son excelentes y los compañeros son excepcionales! I know that I rated everything with “5” but it’s true, it’s not just to be polite. I think Zoni has the quality and level to be one of the best schools in America. Everything is organized and in order. The teachers are dynamic and that is awesome and very helpful for the students because they know how to explain and to clear any doubt that we may have.
Teachers and education are great.staff at the entrance are friendly and helpful.classes are very small and uncomfortable.no cafeteria but the worst or even the only bad thing is the awful communication and facial expression of the manager.I must be unlucky to be exposed to this
For me it is the worst English school in which I have been, if you have a student visa be careful they play with your money, time, visa and others. The services are the worst, the quality of the classes is terrible, the school is old, small, they have dangerous elevators, they used the prices without notice, they give you vacations when they want, if you have f1 they buy you they make some super bad books . Please dont fall for this school trap. Its better Duolingo and its free

Ive never saw something like that before, avoid this school as long as you can. I was like waiting for 2 months for my I-20 for no reason and decided to apply for another school as it took so long without nothing changing about my application and everything was getting more worse than before. Everytime I called them, I was always transferred to different departments and nobody felt in charge or was helpful. Hours of phoning around different departments and persons, some of them were even not able to speak in English which is horrible for a so called language school or even not skilled to held a normal conversation on the phone I could manage a refund request but still didnt get the money after 4 months of waiting. This is unbelievable. This company is not professional at all. Especially the companys division and communication ways are nerve-racking. If I dont get my money back this week, I will go the police and will take further steps.
I am from Quito, Ecuador. I like studying at Zoni everyday Monday to Friday. Teachers here are great. I have improved my English skills,and have met new people from so many different countries here. Zoni Language teachers and staff always give me such good instruction, and help me so much. I am very happy that I came to this school. My English has improved a lot while I was studying there with the lovely teachers. Lively teaching is one of my favorites, and I enjoyed it so much. Making new friends could be the most important thing at that time and I did make lots of friends at school who come from different countries. We still keep in touch even though we don’t study together anymore. Studying at Zoni made me realize how important is the English language. I studied at Zoni for one year and my life there was wonderful. Nice environment and friendly classmates are the two best things in my mind. My experience in New York City makes me confident to begin my life in America I believe.
The worst experience I ever had!This school cares only about students who received F-1 status and their money! If you really want to speak English properly and improve your knowledge- find another school.Firstly, some of the teachers do not know how to organize classes and how to interact with students.Secondly, English is not a first language of some teachers. I was wondering HOW in a language school some of the teachers have an accent and do not have any clue about modern American English. However, if you are lucky, than you will have a teacher whose mother tongue is English and who is dedicated , but in most cases - forget about it.Thirdly, everything just disorganized and rude! These people do not know how to communicate with students.Dear prospective students ,please STAY AWAY from Zoni!!!
I’m studying at Zoni Institute for 9 months and it has been the best moments that I had in AMERICA ! The teachers are amazing and have a lot of knowledge to give to all the students the best experiences inside of the very active class. I improved a lot my skills, grammar, listening, speaking. But, the best part was to meet people from all over the world and understand about the difference between the cultures. Zoni gave me the best experience that I could get from an exchange program.
I think the best word that describes Zoni School is excellence, from the moment that I came to ask for information until my last day I could see it. With an amazing staff Zoni provides not only really interactive and high quality classes with well prepared teachers. They truly make you have your best life experience.This was done with extra-activities that makes you do “no-mainstream”stuff. By the way this is one of the greatest things about Zoni the nationalities mix. During my six months there I have met people from over 45 countries,coming from different continents. Regarding to the education, I think it’s important to say how important were the ESL teacher that I had there, the classes are just amazing, all of them are marvelous. The school encourages you to do a international certification exam. I did TOEFL exam and I can see how I developed my English I arrived there with loads of difficulties and I had a lot of support from the school to study hard and give my best in the exam. The after hours study tutoring were particularly important for it. Well basically I would recommend Zoni School If you want to have one of the greatest experience improving your language,meeting people and enjoying a nice city like Manhattan. In recent days a crazy Brazilian student began to collect signatures and started complain that Zoni is changing her teacher. The institution is very good, serious I have been studying here for 1 year and my level of English is excellent thanks to the teachers and employees of this wonderful institution. Here we have all the schedules and the super affordable prices so that a madwoman who may be in love with the teacher, who was transferred to another Zoni center comes to question the reputation of an institution for her personal feelings. Zoni is the best and will remain the best.
I am studying English at Zoni language Centers in Midtown manhattan. My course includes 3 months of General English and 3 months of preparation for the TOEFL exam. I decided to go abroad to learn English because I need it for my work. A friend of mine, who traveled a lot, recommended America; I followed his advice and I don’t regret it! I chose to stay with a host family, as I think it’s the best way to improve my English language skills. My host family is really nice and they live about 35 minutes away from the midtown by subway/metro. The school is great. Teachers are competent and know how to make lessons interesting. Classes are very international, so I met many people from around the world and discovered lots of new cultures. In addition to language classes, the school organizes leisure activities such as museum tours, excursions and barbecues. It’s been only one month since I left Sao Paulo, but my English has already improved a lot. Time goes very fast, I still have 5 months in New York but I don’t think I will be able to do everything I want to do.Eu estou estudando inglês na Zoni Language Centers em Midtown manhattan. Meu curso inclui 3 meses de inglês geral e 3 meses de preparação para o exame TOEFL. Eu decidi ir para o exterior para aprender inglês porque eu preciso disso para o meu trabalho. Um amigo meu, que viajou muito, recomendou a América; Eu segui o seu conselho e não me arrependo! Eu escolhi ficar com uma família anfitriã, pois acho que é a melhor maneira de melhorar minhas habilidades na língua inglesa. Minha família de acolhimento é realmente agradável e eles vivem aproximadamente 35 minutos longe do midtown de metrô / metro. A escola é ótima. Além das aulas de idiomas, a escola organiza atividades de lazer, como visitas a museus, excursões e churrascos. Faz apenas um mês desde que saí de São Paulo, mas meu inglês já melhorou bastante. O tempo passa muito rápido, eu ainda tenho 5 meses em Nova York, mas não acho que serei capaz de fazer tudo o que quero fazer.
Connecting courses and preparation to the college is not an easy thing. I have had different experiences in the past with language schools and I admit none of them satisfied me completely my expectations. However I am now convinced it is possible because I spend some months at Zoni Language Centers a language school and that was one of the best English language experiences I ever had in my entire life. To start with, the location of school is agreeable and convenient as it is surrounded by everything such as shops, banks, supermarkets, even 40 minutes from the beach…as well as the night-life is incredible and public transport to go to any other places in town. Furthermore the school is a unique boutique, being settled next to the empire state building without the hassle of the security screen every day. The school offers several well-equipped technology, here is the only school that we do not use paper for the test (all of our midterm & finals are on a personal computer) as well the teachers grading are on the computer software. I found a cafeteria where I spent many hours relaxing, eating and chatting with my classmates. The friendly atmosphere made me feel at home and the students there are very open to new people. Teachers are very nice and staff was incredible help. To aggregate it up I recommend you to visit this school in New York for some weeks or months, it’s like a visit a wonderland once in your live: you can improve your English level and live a great and unforgettable adventure at the same time.
Very good place to learn English and to find a good friends. Teachers are great and the atmosphere in the school is very stimulating to study and success. The prices are affordable too. I met so many friends at Zoni and all of them are from different countries and of different ages. Going to this school was one the best decisions in my life!
I had a pleasure to have classes with three different teachers from Zoni Language Centers and I have to admit that teaching skills which are offered here are significantly outstanding from the ones which teachers from my country use. After completing 6 months here everything became easier for me, including grammar, especially speaking and other tasks which are mandatory on international certificates and the use of language on a daily basis. I really liked studying at this school, because I had very good classmates and I got to know a lot of cultures! The lessons were very interesting and useful! Now i feel that I am prepared for the TOEFL exam. I already spoke to my friends back home and they will come next summer.
The methodology is good and with dedication I have learned, sharing with people from other countries forces me to use English and not my native language. My teacher is the best, I love her.

Zoni Academy was a very enriching experience. It really helped me plan my MBA in a better way than I used to do earlier. My classmates find Business English interesting and stimulating as it caters to their immediate needs. The syllabus is well-designed and well-executed. It certainly helps students hone their skills in the use of the English language and sensitizing them to the needs of work place. Zoni has boosted my English level skills in all categories of communication and build tons of self-confidence.
I have been in Zoni for at least seven months. In that time I have attended lots of different classes. This includes Intensive English, private tuition, Business English & Cambridge classes. This means that I’ve been taught by most of the teachers and I think they’ve been incredible. They were more than teachers for me due to the way that they treated the students, is like they are their friends or even family. Most importantly, my English has definitely improved and I believe that I have achieved what I came for. Honestly if I am going to recommend any English school to my German friends, it will be Zoni.
Zoni Language School is one of many Language Schools in New Yrok but it is one of the best in the world.First of all, it’s Zoni location on the midtown Manhattan( Great Place). After lessons the majority of students go usually to share a good time and visit many of the New York City attractions that are quite affordable for students with low budgets. Secondly, the very professional teaching staff create a wonderful Zoni and friendly atmosphere inside the school and classes. The lessons are interesting and informative with a lot of motivational activities. This is the only school that is totally in technology. The admission test and all evaluations are on portable computers provided by the school. Working with students is not an easy task but the team of advisors provide a very helpful experience. I could write a lot of great and warm words about the Zoni school and people who are working there, but the best way is to come to school and get your own experiences and join the school atmosphere.
Zoni is a very good school with skilled teachers. I met really nice people there and I hope to see them again in their respective countries. The atmosphere in my class is great; we improve our English while having fun.I stayed at Zoni resident hall for 7 weeks, the staff are friendly, the area is very peaceful, with a park and access to stores less than 3 minutes’ walk away. The transportation center is only 20 minutes away and the area is well served, even at night (24 hours transportation).Manhattan is beautiful. There is always something to do. The city is a bit huge, but everything is concentrated in the Midtown. Even areas on the outskirts are well connected by public transport and you can easily take the train to visit places farther away (like Bronx, Brooklyn, New Jersey ). Renting a car is not too expensive. Now I know what it is like to drive on the right!I stayed in America for 7 weeks but didn’t take the time to travel outside of the New York metropolitan area. I advise you to take at least one month after the course to travel. Even if you are alone, you will always find someone to travel with along the way. Colombian students are always ready for adventure and they are very cool.Even if it is sometimes difficult to make the decision to travel to the other site of the world on your own, I strongly recommend doing it. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and the memories are intense!
I am really enjoying my studies at Zoni. First, my teacher is very nice, the course is very interactive, topics are interesting ! This is a completely different way of learning : we study with a lot of fun, in groups… Then, the nationality mix is very good, I have met people from all over the world ! I learned different cultures and shared great moments ! Also, the school has a perfect location, close to everything, Midtown train station, Empire State Building Restaurants, shopping! Moreover the school has got a lot of facilities, computers, sofas… It is always neat and comfortable ! Finally I would like to say that I love the activities organised by Zoni!!For all those reasons, I would recommend this school not only to to my friends, it is to everyone!
I had a great time at Zoni Premium. Thanks to their friendly teachers and helpful staff, I could find the best course to suit me. In just 4 weeks I had the chance to fully prepare for my TOEFL exam and at the same time make friends with people from all over the world. This was a wonderful experience that helped me become more confident in myself and I would be more than happy to repeat it all over again! I will explore the other Zoni locations while I will wait for my university entrance approval.

After almost six months studying in Zoni Centers, I can just say thank you. The Zoni method they use to teach English is just perfect (actually the best I’ve tried, and I’ve been in several schools during my life) to improve not only your grammar but specially your speaking and listening which, in the end, it’s really what we need. I only could say good things about Zoni School. Zoni is much more than a really good English school, they are a Super Professional Language Coach and Trainer. When I came here I have a lot issues with my host family and they helped even though I found the homestay with different company. They have the ability to encouraged people and has encouraged me from the beginning until the end of the course. They know how to simplify problems and to makes easy all things, going to the base of the problems directly. Teachers are really consistent, optimistic, enthusiastic, kind, patient... My classmates are very smart, well educated, funny, respectful, generous...
I really enjoyed attending the English class course even if it just was one week, or actually I did 5 months. My teachers (Patrick and Joel) was very friendly and gave me a warm and nice welcome at the school.Surprisingly, the short time really helped me out to improve my language skills, for example the tenses, with which I always have been struggled!If there would be a chance to stay or to come back and visit Zoni again, I definitely would and also take part at the many free events that are offered by the school.In addition, I was in 3 locations in New York and all of them have a vibe of great ambiance.Thank you for the short but sweet time and I hope that I be able to come back one day. I am lucky because I was recommended to Zoni from a trusting source. Based on my classes with 3 different teachers so far I will gladly recommend them. All of them made me feel comfortable and at ease when I struggled across those hard pronunciations (Korean being my native language). The advisors organized my classes primarily based on my needs and concerns for improvements as well according to my first test. I believe that English Speech-Language is not an easy task to learn and to teach for/to Koreans and I am thankful that there are individuals like Zoni staff that are success at it. On a personal level they are also a very lovely people who clearly loves their job and it shows.

Zoni Center, as well as, being a beautiful boutique style, is also in a central and delighted area of the New York City. Furthermore, I would like to emphasize that finding a home in New York is very difficult, but there is no problem, because the center is concerned with choosing the best accommodation in different types. On my first day of class, I was really afraid because I thought my English level was not good. However, as days passed, studying at Zoni school became fun. My teachers and friends made the school a happy place. If I did not understand something, they would teach me. While living in Manhattan, I had to speak English everyday which helped in improving my language skill. I also enjoyed making many new friends from different countries, which I had the opportunity to learn about their cultures and lifestyles.

Zoni school is great. I was help to understand my immigration case and they never charged any money me. They were honest and what ever they told me it was the same thing that the lawyer advise in my case. According to my friends this is the ONLY school who calls the students when they are absent for classes and they enforce the attendance policy compare for what I found talking with my friends from other institutions. Right now I am applying to Montana University with Zonis help to start classes in spring 2019. I have been in class for 3 months the teachers in here so fun and very care of their students. The students in Zoni has a lot of academic pressure and students still are really friendly . If you study in here , your English will be improved. Very satisfy with Zonis principles.
2 stars are for the great owner and my representative. The rest missing 2 stars are for the worst teacher that I have ever seen Kasia Kruk who constantly tests her ego on students. I could not tolerate that attitude anymore. The one who denies to explain the task because students are late. The one who explains that she already taught English to former students who are still in the classroom and she asks new students to ask for the information and techniques that they don’t know LOL, she does not even know that people cannot realize the techniques that they don’t know and as a teacher it is your duty to explain. teach and make students realize and use.I used to be a teacher as well and I have worked with more than 500 teachers in my professional life but I have never seen a teacher with huge ego problems. I hope you do not join her class.

I really appreciated all my English classes with Zoni. I moved from Moscow and suddenly I found myself working in an English environment that I was not going to understand 100%. Time was an issue. Being speedy in ramping up my English was one of my main goals. The school helped me create an intensive curriculum courses where the acadmic advisor worked with me in the office during lunch time or any spare time that I could find in my busy days. Overall, from a professional and personal point of view, I strongly recommend Zoni to any student who wants to see results, support and dedicated attention.

Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. The school building is nice and the location is amazing. The lessons are well organized and the social program is great for making friends, finding new places and practicing English. Last year I went to Washington DC and it was very good experience with my classmates.
I remember Zoni Language Centers as a school with the optimal courses to support my learning regarding the IELTS test. Furthermore I was amazed how supportive and motivated the teachers at Zoni were. The class environment was a really good mix between helping each other to achieving our goals and enjoying the time to meet people from different cultures. I will never forget the time at Staten Island with my lovely host family and the friendly class mates. On the weekends I enjoyed visiting Jersey shores with school friends which helped me to work hard to achieve my goal. Overall I am deeply thankful to Zoni for the great support, without it I never would have been able to get IELTS test level 5 in 4 months which opened the door to getting me an admicions in the medical school.
I started my class a month ago, but I really like the school for the first time I saw. The Zoni has a lot of activities, like parties and travels too. The teachers are great, they only speak in English. It is being the best experience.
We thank our lucky stars that we met Lisa! She is a very nice and professional English teacher and her materials and method are fantastic. Every class is an amazing occasion to learn a lot about grammar, pronunciation, idioms and American culture. The online technology added were simply great and, using them as homework and conversation topics, we had as fun as Lisa and Joel during their conversations. Her work is a very good combination of talent and promised. She is able to teach in a simply way just what we needed, and very important she always did it smiling. She gained our appreciation and respect forever. We strongly suggest to have English class with Lisa at Zoni. I like the school very much.
If you are looking for good price, you just found the right place but please, do not ask for quality because this is not the best school in NYC. Zoni is definitely a messy school in so many ways that can frustrate and disappoint you in every single time you need. Good Luck.
Before I left for my language course, I asked myself many questions. What city? What course? What accommodation option? After discussing it with my friends and with a Zoni SSR, I chose America!So I went toNew York to take a 3-month “Premium English” course at the Zoni school. It was the first time I was actually happy to go to school in the morning, the lessons were very interesting, the teacher was exceptional and my classmates were great! Through the school, I met many people of different nationalities and from different backgrounds with whom I had a great time and I learned a lot…Regarding accommodation, I stayed in a student residence for a month, and once again it was great! As soon as I arrived, I met my roommates, who were of different nationalities, and I immediately felt comfortable because, even though we all had a different level of English, we could understand each other very well.In the student residence, I learnt not to be embarrassed when speaking English because all of the students there went to the same school as me and attended the same type of courses as me.About New York… The city is just huge! There are so many things to do and see that I never got bored! There are students all over the place, you meet lots of people everywhere and it is a great place for going out!
My adventure with English started several months ago at Zoni Language and I can say that I am satisfied with my choice. Here I could take my first steps in a friendly and efficient atmosphere. I still remember the day when I first came to Zoni. I was very poor at English knowledge and I always needed some help from my friend by translating English to Thai. It was really hard to catch up on all the daily conversations, because I couldnt understand what the people was talking about.But now I have changed and I can now help other students who can not speak English. I now get excellent grades from my teachers at the college. I have seen my growth and I am glad to have good friends, a supportive roommate and great teachers during my classes at Zoni.

I have the most wonderful experience with Zoni. Thanks to Zoni today my student exchange visa has already been approved. They informed me very well of all the procedures and they were attentive throughout the process at all the time. Thanks to Paula for listening to me every time I needed during this whole process. Today I am happy studying and improving the language every day. I am very focus in my studies because I want to enter to the university as soon as possible. I know I will succeed because all Zoni staff and teachers are very efficient.Something very personal to share my cousin is very frustrated and annoyed because visa wasnt grated but it is her fault because she did not want to do anything that Zoni told us that we had to do and today she is blaming poor Paula that the only thing she did was to help her. We arrived together but she always wants things to be as she wants and I told her that with the american government we can not play; Now she says she was denied twice when a change of status was approved or they deny it only once, she is foolish. I told her that she had received what she deserves ... Please Zoni excuse her that she is an immature girl and she throws an indignation when you do not do what she wants. Today she does not speak to me at all because she always think that she is better than everyone.Thanks again and I am proud to study at your center.
After 8 amazing months studying English at Zoni, I have noticed a huge change in my speaking, listening and writing skills. Here, not only did I find excellent teachers and student environment, but also it gave me such confidence to deal with an international environment that I got a job as a product manager ( in Germany ) sooner than expected. Do not waste your time. Stay as far away as possible from this place. When I arrived at the school in West New York, the first impression was bad, but the attendant was so super kind that I decided to give it a try for a week, so I went ahead and paid for 1 week course. At first, I was instructed to take a test. Then, I was instructed to take another test but this time a conversational test with the school coordinator. I was so shocked by the way I was treated by this person. Incredibly rude. I am still trying to understand how such a person can be allowed to work at this place. While speaking to me, she did not even look at me. The first test I took, that she was supposed to review it, she did not even bother. Then, I was placed to what was supposedly an advanced level class where at this class, students were at entry level. There was nothing advanced about this class. The staff and teachers spoke Spanish during class which becomes close to impossible if you are trying to improve your English.
If you are f1 visa, i don’t recommend this school, please don’t waste your money, after they take your money they don’t care about you , the people who are working there are so rude when you need something, and plus the classes are terrible , you will never learn english there
I have been attending Zoni for about a month now and the experience here has been more than pleasant. During classes we go through interesting topics, we learn about each others cultures and so on. Also the teachers in the schools are very understanding, friendly and make an effort to make sure you are getting answers to your questions.
NO GO ZONEI strongly recommend avoiding this place due to its incompetent management and complete lack of professionalism.They would loose your paperwork and when your visa status will be denied simply because their representative made a mistake when filling the application they would just tell you: “It is not the schools responsibility to fill and keep your paperwork”. When people future is at stake a management that simply neglects to do its job should be terminated. If you do not want to loose your student visa status and go back to your country DO NOT go to this school.

This institute makes its profit off helping people switch their immigration status from tourist to student. Very few people that come here are actually interested in learning the language the vast majority are using it as loop hole to extend their stay in the United States. Management is well aware of this but dont expect them to admit it. Only the teachers in the waayyy over priced premium program are native speakers. Few staff members are also proficient in the language, many them are have terrible english and were once student of the institute. I believe that speaks for its self. In my opinion it is way over priced youd be better off going to some community college than this institute. Everyone seems so kind and friendly but thats only because the sales people get paid comission. The academic advisors are a joke. The institute in general is a joke, its basically a scam where your tricked into over paying for mediocre lessons. Im disgusted by the way the school treats its students.When you share your book with someone else you get an absent. When you come 15 minutes too late you get an absent. When you pay 30 minutes too late you get an absent. Five absents and you get kicked off the school and loose your visa.The school has a simple system: Get the students money and threaten them whenever you can with loosing your visa. Humanity doesnt exist for the managers and teachers. Dont be blinded by the salespeople and secretary. The people are wonderful to you before you enroll.Once you enroll and they have your money youll feel like in hell.I saw students verbally fighting with teachers... etc.Dont believe the nice salespeople at Zoni! Dont believe the positive reviews here. They are probably written by Zoni.About learning: Most people say their English has not improved at all at this school. Teachers are always late by 15 minutes and dont care about your progress.

In the beginning I planned on studying english for only 3 months, and after that I realized that it wasnt enough: I loved the school and the teachers who teach there. Today I am returning to my country but I have very different feelings. First happy because I am going to see my family after three years that I havent see them. I am writing to thank Zoni because in the difficult moment when my former institute closed. They have helped me with everything and I even received the 24 weeks free because I had paid at the previous institute and at that time I did not have money to look for a new institution since I had made the payment on Monday April 1 and they closed on Tuesday april 2. I already started my classes at Zoni, I received my I-20 form and also the teacher that I had in the previous institute is already working in Zoni. My time in New York gave me many different opportunities to develop my English skills and to challenge myself. I came to the school to get RIGHT information about the classes , prices and the day to star .the person who help me told me that the opening class for beginners where about to star next Saturday (25th) morning schedule that was exactly what I was looking for my brother so ..I decide to subscribe my brother and pay the registration fee .. after I paid the fee, she change everything!.. now the classes where to star in the middle of September not next week.. she said that we understood wrong.. really that was me and my other sister that we understood wrong ... i don’t think so !!!she lie to us just to paid the fee and get registered . That’s not nice . ... why you lie to people?? I’m totally mad and disappointment bcz now I have to send my brother another location 😡😡😡and the manager hear everything and she don’t even try to resolve the problem . it was really the worst service !! The service is the worst.I registered because I wanted to learn English, but it was so bad that I asked for a refund.They keep delaying the refund, saying theyll keep giving it back.Even if I send an email, they ignore the answer that its not their part.I went there and asked them, but they told me JUST WAIT, I dont know! 🤯Also I called them several time ,They shift the responsibility.Its the worst experience ever.And THEY just hung up on me during the call, so I called back and repeated many times
Zoni program helped me improve my English skills significantly from various aspects. All the classes were interesting and gave me some good opportunities to gain new vocabulary, make a presentation, and share opinions with other students. Through this program, I could be more confident to communicate with many kinds of people in English and now I dont hesitate to use my polished English. I’d highly recommend Zoni program for all the students struggling with English.For my Colombian countrymen, having relied on Zoni for all my visa procedures and coming from a town outside of Medellin is a great achievement. Do not need intermediaries and much less pay more, thank God I took a risk and the experience was very successful and so far I say it and I repeat it is the best. The policies of the institution are well established and from what I have heard in other institutions they are very expensive, also as there are very few students they do not have the number of classes that Zoni has and the same with the schedules that if here one does learn because here one if you attend classes and take advantage of the investment you make in paying. Countrymen, dont be fooled by courses for $300 dollars per week, call them because they are better or because you have more chances for a visa. That is a lie. To those who are going to give you a visa, they give it to you, no matter the cost of the institution, what matters is your professional and educational profile. So if you are going to have an international experience I recommend Zoni as the best alternative.
Awful. I paid for the course in cash, equivalent to 6 weeks, and they told me that if they didnt want to, I would refund the money for the weeks I didnt attend. Classes were from 8 am to 10 am. Students arrive at 8:30 all late and the teacher stops class at 9:40. In other words, you pay for 2 hours of classes a day that you dont have and in the classroom you just fill up sausages. Summary I did two weeks and hated it and canceled the next paid weeks that now I have to wait for 45 days to refund something I paid in cash. Dont waste your time and money there. Take private lessons its much better
Studying here is very good. Everyone is very kind and cares about every child. If you dont understand or cant keep up, you can always ask. The teacher is ready to explain fully, making all our skills greatly improved, especially Sentence Writing and IEP classes, which are a great addition to the IELTS test. and general matters Take good care like family.
The best English school, I met excellent teachers. Best of all, you can learn fast because you can interact with people from different countries. The facilities are comfortable and it has a variety of recreational and educational activities.

Excellent place, with good attention, education and location. The truth was, it was a pleasure to have participated in this great institution with one of the best services for international students and the most recognized worldwide. I recommend it 100 percent to anyone looking for one. An honor.The experience of my life, at first many people told me about going to other types of institutions and I went but I didnt like the type of service so I decided to request information from Zoni and I really wasnt wrong, during the whole process of my Visa application until arrival at the school was a very well completed process and step-by-step advice. After 2 years of studying it was time to leave but your international office staff advised me very well and your guide helped me a lot during these two years. At first, as some students, I had a party and I was not paying much attention to my attendance after a meeting with the representative of the international office who explained my responsibilities where missing class can have as a consequence losing my status of there I understood and concentrated, at that time I had some friends who were in the same but they chose to go to another school that dialed they did not care about attendance but they were in tremendous trouble because the institution closed and they did not respond for the money paid, finally immigration granted them permission to transfer since the institution was closed because they did not follow the parameters so they returned to Zoni where they were received and also guided to resolve their case with USCIS. Here at Zoni I felt sure that if they tell me something it is for my own good and I thanked myself not only for what they did for me but also for my friends. Thank you Zoni and wherever I go I am very proud to have learned English with you.

The service in this institution is impressive since its reception is approaching it finds some very polite and friendly girls like Alejandra and Andrea. In addition the attention of the service to the student is impeccable as it is is from my counselor Ylena. My teachers are super well prepared with wishes that we learn and with a lot of patience. The extraordinary thing is the cleanliness and decor of the organization as you can see in the photos I share. For everything and much more I love this institution since I think it was one of the best decisions I have been able to make in life. Besides, I have met very beautiful friends, people where they have offered me a very good friendship and a lot of help and collaboration.

2022-02-05NO Wi-Fi for Students , Classes are small and chairs for kids.Today was my first day at MANHATTAN ZONI COLLEGE. I ask staff and teachers for Wi-Fi password and it’s what they said “ There is NO Wi-Fi for students “ so just to make sure that what kind of school you are going to register.ZONI is NOT RECOMMENDED! 2022-01-21I have experienced a terrible hell at this Zoni language school. Are there still students who still want to attend Zoni? They hold the i20 and the student can not receive it. All staff at this place are personally abusive and disrespectful to students.Although seemingly friendly, but they mostly lie, and eventually the student has to make multiple requests.They behave like kings. Usually they lie that I am not in charge and do nothing. I have never seen a language school like this. And The official document says 60 days is acceptable, but unofficial they force themselves to transfer out at the same time as the class ends. I cant write everything here, but Ive had a really terrible hell experience.

2022-02-24Great institution! No matter where you walk to, you’ll see international students everywhere. Very friendly environment and excellent teachers. My DSOs at this school are super friendly and have the knowledge to advise us. That sometimes as a student, we are stubborn and do not want to listen or because other people tell us different things but, in the end, according to my experience our Zoni DSOs have always been right and I have seen many cases of various friends who think they know it all. I believe this is the largest institution in the United States because there are students everywhere and at all times. It was the opposite when study abroad agency recommended a very expensive school and I arrived and there was hardly anyone there and they had no courses to offer me instead I changed here at Zoni, and here at Zoni I found all kinds of courses and all schedules including the weekend as well payment methods. 2022-02-09Worst school ever. Don’t waste your money or time. Teachers are not completely prepare to teach English. Specially if you are looking to improve your pronunciation. You won’t learn anything here. Student services are the worse. Many other schools are doing better.

2019-05-21I dream of discovering New York City and I combined my passion for traveling with the improvement of the English language skills. I just loved these 3 weeks spent at Zoni language institute. The atmosphere is really nice, the quality of the classes are excellent, you are never bored and you make progress every day!! Everybody is very professional, very punctual and always listening to the students. Many services are offered at the school: help from an agency to extend the stay, weekly days out, various excursions (zoo, Opera metropolitan…) the school is very well located right in the center of Manhattan and Midtown Manhattan is really a beautiful city. The New Yorkers are lovely! I was delighted by the accommodation service. I had half board accommodation in a family, which allows you to be in total immersion to perfect the learning of the language. Great! I really appreciated the academic ESL services by the advisors, which totally fulfilled my expectations. The ability to listen and an excellent follow-up of my file! Thanks to Cezar for his precious help. 2018-12-04I think the best word that describes Zoni School is excellence, from the moment that I came to ask for information until my last day I could see it. With an amazing staff Zoni provides not only really interactive and high quality classes with well prepared teachers. They truly make you have your best life experience. This was done with extra-activities that makes you do “no-mainstream” stuff. By the way this is one of the greatest things about Zoni the mix of nationalities. During my six months there I have met people from over 15 countries, coming from different continents. Regarding to the education, I think it’s important to say how important the teacher that I had there was, the classes are just amazing, all of them are marvelous. The school encourages you to do an international certification exam. I did TOEFL exam and I can see how I developed my English I arrived there with loads of difficulties and I had a lot of support from the school to study hard and give my best in the exam. The study materials were particularly important for it. Well basically I would recommend Zoni If you want to have one of the greatest experience improving your English language, meeting people and enjoying a nice environment like Zoni Manhattan.

2018-12-04I took advance courses in Zoni institute and I’m glad to say that it was impressive. From the first day, when they tested my English skills to place me in the right level, until the now, when I felt sad leaving behind friends and a breathtaking teacher. The facilities of the school are perfectly adequate – computers, books, resources to self-study, social events and activities every week; and it’s big great thing is the prices. It’s definitely a great school for anyone who wants to improve his command of the English language. All being well I’ll be back in a few months to prepare the Cambridge exam.

All of the teachers are so kind and friendly, so you can study English easily. In addition, it has a lot of buildings so we can make a lot of friends. Zoni is the perfect place not only for learning English but also to get to know America and the culture New York. Subsequently, “New York is the capital of the world and Zoni too” so you get close to different lifestyles all over the world.Our trip to Washington DC was great.
