Honestly its a great little place however when the guy was setting up my board he was very careless over cutting the grip tape he actually lost one of my bolts and replaced it with a rusty one. However his manager was very professional and direct obviously I didnt say anything about it because it was a super chill environment. But other than that it was a great experience. Just dont use the tall skinny long haired guy to set up your board unless you want it to look like a blind person set it up.

Really friendly staff. Great customer service. They were all working the selling floor without being overly annoying. They informed you of new items and great deals.I came to return something but ended up leaving with another item to replace it which coordinated with a previous purchase. Had the sales person not mentioned that they just got it in, I would not have known about it.Good job selling guys (I had no business buying more things but it was hard to resist)

Sales lady was dope and offical I appreciate her style and understanding of mind introducing me to other brands and opening my fashion pallet. Amazing store for all the anime shirts and sweatshirts selections. If you like to skateboard this is the place to get yours. Friendly staffs and will help you in purchasing what you need. Recommend to all my anime friends.
Very friendly staff! Also really helpful in finding me exactly what I wanted. Great place to stop by for streetwear if in the local area surrounding the Empire State Building. Don’t make the mistake I did by turning up too early and check the opening times first! Great store highly recommend!

Although we are definitely not the usual kind of customer to a street wear shop-I was choosing a a t shirt for my son- I read reviews here online first and saw that it is sadly unusual to find such a store in NYC that has good customer service. The service at Zumiez was fabulous though and I cannot praise them enough. I gave no hesitation in recommending them to a one who finds themselves in NYC. I did find what I wanted and we were not made to feel awkward in any way.

Came here on my way home to Denmark, was not disappointed.Great guys, and even though the store is big, it has a very local feel. The board selection was huge, they went the extra mile and emptied out the basement to find all the 7.75 boards for me. We talked about boards, spots and everyday life for so long after my purchase that I almost missed my flight.No doubt I will be back again. And if the employees are reading; hit me up when you get to Denmark (again), and Ill show you around!
My teen sons favorite store. He loves the sweats, tees, hoodies and jackets. And they have the best accessories. Love the socks. Friendly and helpful staff. Always a pleasure to shop.
Came to get my niece a skate board. Took 4 people to finally help us. The most informed assistance we got was from a young man that is not even an eemployee. His name is Rome. By time someone came to help, everything Rome told us to get, the employee was recommending. They need to hire Rome. Good vibe
Nice store with nice employees. Its only a hop and skip from Grand Central. It is not in a crazy area. The vibe was nice and the store had a decent organized feel, but I dont like looking through packed racks. My son likes the stickers there though.

Purchased there products at a family dollar in Arkansas only to find out they were damaged when I was ready to wear them. Disappointed, I called the company, only to find out no one answers the phone at any extension. All mailboxes are full and I decided I would think twice about ever purchasing anything from collective soles again.

I am not a big fan of this chain of stores but in this case the guys selling the skateboards where actual skaters and really knew about that subjetc. A pleasent surprise. They had a nice stock on trucks and a really decent deck sellection, if you need something to roll check out this specific location.

Ive always been a bit hesitant to shop at Zumiez and not support the local skate scene, but I was in the area, needed a deck, and thought why not take a look.I was pleasantly surprised to see a huge selection of decks that would rival any non-corporate skate shop. However, more importantly, the staff actually knew what they were talking about. They set up your new board for you free of charge, while you wait on a sofa.When I was there, there were some kids from the UK getting new boards to skate NYC for the first time. The guy there was telling them about all of the local spots. This is how a skate shop should be, locally owned or corporate; I dont care.Also, you probably arent going to find better prices on boards in Manhattan at least.
Chillest Place! Their playlist is awesome. The clothes are a bit expensive but hey is NYC! Loved it. The employees were so nice and very helpful.
Staff was friendly and modest- they might not know every technical term, but they are not afraid of finding someone who can help. Everyone seems relatively experienced and friendly.
We called to make sure that zumiez was going to be open when we got there and the owner said yes they closed at 10. We drove an hour into the city and walked up to the store at 9:12 and they workers did not let us in. We were very upset and knew exactly what we wanted so it’s not like we would have taken a long time. We would like to be reimbursed for the gas that polluted the environment for the false time that was told to us. Thank you.

Entered by chance and surprised! Store at the foot of the Empire State Building, skateboard atmosphere, New Yorker. Super cool sellers and wide choice of skateboard brands. You can even have your board mounted in the store. A great skate shop!
I tried to pay 7 dollars with coins and they did not accept it, the workers there think that the coins they supply as change are not worth it.
Historic skateboard shop, but year after year its getting worse! Little light inside the shop, models of old shoes and with little selection (limited editions 0) you dress one over the side and clothes racks full of goods that you cant even see the graphics of the t-shirts. Young staff with a desire for skating and not being in a shop! A ride inside is always done !!!

2021-04-17Really loved the place. The staff is very nice and communicative. They offer a nice selection on many clothing brands and skateboard and the like. Im not much of a skater myself but my friends loved this place and the board they got from here. Would definitely recommend if youd want either.
