Very loud especially how small it is. It is a very lovely cocktail bar which I enjoyed but surprised it was Michelin star rated, since it really is a high end cocktail bar rather than a restaurant.

Disappointed. We at at ZZ’s Friday, 10/1 (only learned it was reopening night from this post), and it was probably our worst dining experience in all of our years in NYC. To say that the menu was limited is a gross exaggeration; it consisted of toast (tuna, trout roe or uni), oysters and caviar. The service was unfriendly and slow. The drinks were too strong. The oysters were nice but the Orient Pearls did not seem fresh.A “reopening” this poorly done should have been postponed (perhaps indefinitely).

One of my favorite bars in NYC. Quiet, cozy, great cocktail and fresh seafood every time. However, worth all the cons..?! Not sure 🤔Pro:- quiet & cozy- great craft cocktails with fun presentations, all tiki themed- all the items on the menu were fresh (ugh, the uni😍) and full of flavors- none of the menu items disappointed me (the caviar 😭)- tropical interior on pointCon:- every time I visit, it is more difficult to get a reservation. They always seem to be booked for a private party- every item on the menu is expensive- if you’re a party of 3 or more, the place will be very crowded and uncomfortable as the place is extremely small.- menu is limited. I really go for the uni toast and the cocktails

Get in there if you can book a table! What a gem! They have 4-5 tables and the menu is raw but every bit amazing! The trout roe toast tastes like a divine dish created to make people happy:):)

I love ZZs Clam Bar, a very tiny, very wonderful bar and rawbar / seafood place. Reservations are absolutely required, and the place is a total splurge. It functions like a speakeasy, and seats something like 12-16 people at tiny marble tables. Its a bit like a jewel box, and it feels like something out of a different era, underscored by their vintage barware collection. They have amazing, super crafted cocktails - some of the best - and incredible, fresh seafood. The Chianina beef carpaccio with sea urchin and caviar is absolutely and completely over the top and something I dream about.

The tiniest restaurant ever. Just four tables and a couple of counter spaces. Loved this tiny raw bar. Uni toast is a must. Lobster ceviche didn’t disappoint.

The food was absolutely delicious! One of the best seafood restaurants I’ve ever had. The flavors were out of this world.

What a gem. I’ve lived down the street from here for 4+ years and went for the first time last night. Phenomenal cocktails - we tried 4-5 different ones and they were all unique and all delicious in their own way. To eat, we had the roe toast, which was described to us as “one of the best bites in the city” and didn’t let us down. We also had the carpaccio, some oysters and their ‘off menu’ item. 5 stars all around. Even though we had to wait for a seat for a little while, the service was perfect too.

Its really nice, intimate, but i expected more for the price. I think the problem with this place is the unfortunate gap between how things appear and how they actually are. It LOOKS swanky, but unfortunately it still gets crowded in spite of the small size and reservations only, so you can barely hear the person sitting across from you and it ruins the expected intimacy. The drinks LOOK exciting and delicious but are pretty much hit or miss but NOT worth 20 bucks a pop. The pistachio one was pretty good. The food is good but unfortunately you have to shell out a pretty penny to get any decent portions. Anything less than 30 and were talking 2, may be three bites at the most. Service is by far the best part and waitress was great ( and not too harsh on the eyes either). I wouldnt go back
